Just a week or two ago. We're going at a breakneck speed, but we're in a good shape. Opening is on Nov. 30th.

opening night tomorrow. ooof. almost 2am and I just got home. Painting, making costumes, etc... It's fun, but I'm keeling over.
Of course I get home and find dozen work messages - this needs to be done by then and this by then... i swear my head will explode.
but this show will be among the best of the Orphans' production. So it's naturally worth it.

Seen the Globe today?
There's a big picture of Larry Coen in his Evil Santa getup on the front of
the "Sidekick" section. Nice little blurb about the production.

Quote:
Ryan Landry , the genius/madman who brought us stage productions such as "Death of a Saleslady" and "Who's Afraid of the Virgin Mary?" goes for camp and cannibalism in "Silent Night of the Lambs," which opens tonight. The Christmas extravaganza stars members of Landry's Gold Dust Orphans:

Larry Coen plays a dark Santa Claus who haunts Clarice Starling, portrayed by Penny Champayne. Landry says the show should "scare the balls right off your tree." He's subtle, that Landry. The show runs Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through Dec. 23 . Shows are at 8. Tickets: $29. Theater Machine, 1256 Boylston St., 866-811-4111 . golddustorphans.com

yes it does. Santa Claus (Hanibal) will appear naked in a bath tub. And we whores are quite scantily clad as well.

Kicky, you would love that place she's performing at. Machine is definitely your type of club.

Good luck Dag...

So, another opening has come and gone. We had a standing ovation on Friday, and fullest house in our history on Saturday. As it usually goes, the show will only get better and tighter after the first week or two...
Littlek saw it, she can tell you how it was from down there.

Ha! Yes, most of the audience proceeds to get plastered during the show. No wonder we have success...
