I've become a Lostophile. I started watching the shows online a few weeks ago. I'm in the second half of season 2...... Love it!

Just wait until you get to this season, there is almost no limit to the confusion, but in a good way.

Yay, fellow Lost fans on a2k! It's such a fun show, but I've given up trying to recommend it to people, everyone always pooh-poohs it and says things like "Oh, I'm not into sci-fi," all condescending-like... Sad This season has been really terrific so far--I can't wait for Thursday nights!

So, Kris, how far along are you, what's going on?

I'm in the first half of season 3. The doc is staying on the Others' island while Sawyer and Kate go back to the big island.

I really like that they're running the previous week's episodes (with extra info) before the new episode each week. Is this just filler while they're waiting for the writers to get back to work or will it continue? Does anyone know?

From wikipedia

Quote:
Season 4 was planned (prior to the the Writers Guild of America strike) to feature 16 episodes, to be broadcast beginning in the U.S. and Canada on January 31, 2008.[15] Due to the writers' strike, the season will instead last only 13 episodes, consisting of the 8 pre-strike episodes already filmed, and an additional 5 post-strike episodes currently being filmed. The show will go on a 4 week hiatus after the conclusion of the 8th episode and return April 24. [2] Although the season will be down by three episodes, executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have announced they will be added and fitted in the remaining fifth and sixth seasons.[56]

Hmm, I haven't heard...I still haven't watched one of those--what kind of extra info do they throw in? Maybe I'll try to catch this week's.

cypher, they throw in trivia about where scenes were filmed, who characters were named for, ties to previous episodes, etc.

I tried tuning in but since I didn't watch from the beginning I found it nearly impossible to catch on... I'm so left out of lots of watercooler/bar banter....

I'm all caught up. Now I don't have to be obsessed with it - I can watch it weekly like everyone else.

I didn't like the pop-up windows on the 'enhanced' versions. They distracted me.

Is anyone else besides me totally baffled about what Locke is trying to pull off?

And what about the fact that Michael was on the ship?

Completely baffled! Confused Locke has gotten more unfathomable than ever.

My mouth literally fell open Laughing So I guess he's the guy Ben said he had on the boat...I'm wondering where Walt is then, if Michael's there? It's hard to imagine Michael leaving him behind on the mainland somewhere. I don't know, this season is great, but I'm completely in the dark about what it all means (as usual)...What is the deal with time on the island being just a little off from the outside world, for example? Weird.

Any guesses on who's going to die next week?

If I had to make a guess, based on last weeks episode, I would say the Korean man is going to die.

I can never remember his name.

Yep!

So, in the future we see the following alive off the island: Kate, Jack, Sun, Aron (the baby), Hugo, Ben and Sayid. Right? Did we see Desmond? What about I guess they wouldn't kill him off having just saved him (but that's what they did with Charles).

Oh No!

I am just remembering a news bit saying there would be a brief break in episodes at some point because of the writers' strike..... could it be <wince>?
