i LOVE that last one boom.
ohh husker.
that is precious.
you are precious.
Thank you. :-)
thanks
fyi there is a larger version available
this would print nice to a 4x6
i am playing with it now in photo shop to see how well it stretches
Thank you shewolf!
I found a goof on it so I took that one down and I am reposting it here:
Nice use of text, boomer. It reminds me of an ad I saw many years ago, but can't quite remember. I mean that in a good way.
Thank you LTX. One of the things I've really enjoyed about making these postcards is trying to find ways to make text match the idea it is supposed to express.
This one was supposed to convey the different ways to be invisible. I think I did okay.
I think I did okay too on the ironing woman one too because it was supposed to convey the frustration of "girlness".
Working with text is a whole new ballgame for me but I feel like I've learned a lot about it in the last few days.
It's amazing that the whole graphic interest is text, just text.
Really beautifully done.
Thanks soz!
I know you were in on the math thread -- knowing what the equation means, do you think it fits the story or is it too big of a stretch?
No no I love it.
The beat-up Converse sneakers are a big part of it -- it fits.
Oh good.
When I asked the math question I really had a different direction in mind for the story. I wasn't too sure it really worked any more but I still loved the equation.
Not to be all Gladys Kravits or anything but it was making me crazy that I couldn't see Bean's face....
boomerang how did you do that? other color seems to be close to the same?
what DOES the math equasion mean?
I used the "dodge" tool in Photoshop, husker, and just dodged the shadows out.
The equation doesn't really mean anything, shewolf. I asked the math forum to make up an equation for me that used my age (45) and my shoe size (7.5) and had an answer somewhere between 24 and 27. I was going to angle the story a bit more towards acting both your age and your shoe size but I got sidetracked.
made using a pic found from soz's wikipedia link
