The AP is reporting this afternoon that the diagnosis of a "heart defect" was wrong. More like acid indigestion or something like that.

Somebody said "heartburn" and a reporter thought they meant a stroke.
I'd bet an arm on that. I know how ignorant reporters can be.

Man this could go either way Tico. We are tied in a ton of categories and most of the one that aren't tied are pretty close.

I'm moving this weekend so will probably be computerless for at least a few days. Don't worry though... my roster is set through Tuesday.

Good luck, Tico... but not to much.

Good luck, JP.

My roster is not set.

Matter of fact, my roster could change plenty between now and Monday.

Ack. Only today left, and it's not looking good for the Ticomaniacs. Loaiza didn't do me any favors yesterday, and JP's pitching came through for him.

And genius that I am, I decided to bench my Marlin players yesterday against Bret Myers. Big mistake. At least Borowski didn't get the save.

I don't think I can make up the difference today.

For those of yall with bye weeks here is where we are in the initial play off match-ups:
JPinMilw leads Tico 14-6. Things look a bit bleak for Tico.
and
Fbaezer leads Johnboy 12-10. Not as close as it looks as most of his categories look safe. But there is hope. I need for my hitters to get 1 more 2B than his which would neutralize that (making it 11-10 in favor of the Tamales).
I have no SP going today. He has one. I need for that guy to get hit hard early so that I can keep my lead in IP and can steal WHIP's (which would make it 11-11 absent the 2B thing.
What happens if we tie?

It's like two seasoned gladiators meeting in the middle of the ring when you and I clash, RJB.
