Does your wife make you keep it in the garage, too? {runs}
Watch out for jespah, she's stealing second!

No. There's no space in the would-be garage where she built her personal gym.
I am getting very confused, Who built a gym in which garage?
It was MY trophy Jespah was talking about. She wouldn't run from you.
My wife built a gym in our garage.
Did yours build one in your garage too?
Did mine build it in your garage?
Guess I'm a bit confused too.
Who am I not running from again?
And who's on first?
He's on first. Who's on second.

No, what's on second.

Hey I got a
94.50 ERA from Mr. Rogers last night. Is that an A2K record?
He threw 48 pitches in 2/3 of an inning.
And I was
this close to sitting him too.
Last night I thought: "poor guy who has Rogers in their roster".
Good golly, it was YOU Tico, my week's rival!

yes .... I'm thinking you might win the ERA category this week.

I believe Turnbow had an INF (infinite, I suppose) ERA for pitching .1 innings and failing to get anyone out.
But 94.50 is pretty scary just the same.
I finally beat Jespah... yet it wasn'tenough to move ahead. Shmoke on the otherhand has been racing up the charts.
I went back to winning... 11-10 but I won. So yeah, it's a re-start.
The Tamales did indeed beat the Rednecks 11-10. My hitters had a great day on Saturday and Pantalones' pitchers had a bad day. So going into Sunday I was up 14-6. I looked long and hard at the categories and thought seriously about pulling my pitchers to hang on to the points I had. But Schilling and Baptista were SP's and we were tied in the ERA category at 7.11. Certainly I had a good chance to move that into my column. But Schilling gets hit hard and I lose ERA 7.11 to 7.13. Ouch.
On to Sister Fister, who I do not play well.
Here are the standings as of the end of July based on matches won-lost-tied rather than on the Yahoo system:
1) Pancake (11-5-1 for the season) (4-0-1 for July) (1st in Yahoo)
2) Puppies (9-8-0) (1-4-0) (2nd)
3) JPinMilw (9-7-1) (1-4-0) (3rd)
4) Tamales (8-9-0) (1-4-0) (7th)
5) Pancho (7-8-2) (4-0-1) (4th)
6) Tico (6-8-3) (1-2-2) (5th)
7) Sister (6-8-3) (3-1-1) (8th)
8)) Rednecks (6-9-2) (2-2-1) (6th)
The Tamales is interesting. What this suggests is that he wins pretty much as often as he loses, but when he wins it is by a narrow margin and when he loses it is by a wider margin. That hurts him in the Yahoo standings which are based on categories won-lost-tied in.
Similarly Pancake keeps on winning his weekly matchups but by small margins which leaves him only slightly ahead of Jespah and Joe in the Yahoo stats.
Congrats to Pancho for a fine performance in July.
1-4-0 for july is quite a slide... hopefully I have that turned around now.

Tell me about it jpin. I went from 2nd to 7th in just over a month, most of july included.
Yeah, July stank for me, too. Onto better days in August -- for all of us.
The Rednecks have three pitchers starting tonight. I will go to sleep and dream of three perfect games. No hits, no walks, no errors. 27 outs.
I'm starting to believe Shmokinapancake has some kind of dirty spell.
How come do my players -specially my pitchers, now that my rotation is sound- perform well against other participants, and often fail against him?
This must be investigated by the league commish!
Oh, no! The league commissioner is Shmoking's bro!
