I think you have gotten the better end of that deal so far, jespah.

I was counting on C. Lee to be really hot this year considering it is a contract year for him. He's been good, but so has Burrell.

And both have been better than D. Lee lately .... but he's coming back soon. Cool

Hopefully with some power in his bat.

I'm not sure who should be happier about D. Lee coming back... you or the cubs.

You could always just trade me Jeter and Wright for Raúl Ibañez

While I like Ibañez, I think I'll have to take a pass.

Wanna trade a Gomes for an Ibañez?

Okay, but when he comes out of his mild slump after his shoulder heals, you'll be sorry you didn't jump at this opportunity.

Two of my SP this week have thrown 8.0 innings each One gave up 1 ER; the other 0. I guess I should be happy, but it does p*ss me off that neither was allowed to get the CG or perhaps the shutout in the one game. Grrr.

I was having a hard time deciding what I was going to do with all the publicity, money and girls I would've got if I went to first place. My team was beating the Nameless for at least 8 runs up until friday and the Ticomaniacs were doing their job against the Puppies. But something changed on saturday, the tortilla flipped and the tamales fell out of the plate. At least I gained a game on the doggies.

I might pull a Slappy for the next 3 weeks as I'm going to Mexico City on vacation. I think I'll make some appearances now and then to arrange my roster and not lose my third place.

jpin, could you switch Barrett for J. López when the former gets suspended?

I pulled the old rope-a-dope on you. Lured you into a false sense of security and just when you thought you had me beat I got 5 rbi's from damon, 3 from Guillén, 2 each from Ordóñez and A-rod... then I got another 10 on Sunday.

That ought to teach you to mess with the Nameless.

ps. I'll try to remember to switch your catchers for you.

Arf, well, I'll blame my parents.

-- Uh, 'cause they were visiting last weekend.

Tico, how the hell did you go all week with 0 losses among all of your pitchers? I am about to do bad things to Puppy Heilman, who had a scary ERA and WHIP and dragged the whole staff down. He does not get a chew toy tonight.

This week, the Puppies will bite the ankles of General Black Jack Pershing and his Punitives. Smile

Um ....

Ticomaniacs pitching losses = 2 (Both by the recently banished Casey Janssen.)

Bean Town Pups pitching losses = 3

I had 0 Complete Games. Is that what you were thinking of?
