lets do an "over and under" on who gets nailed for doping. Looks like the US skeleton team is taking propetia to mask steroid use.
Im glad that the zero tolerance thing has kicked in. Itll still be an incomplete snatch of all the violators but, well, its a start.

I cannot wait for the curling to start, at least they just drink beer at the curling clubs around here. No real reason to juice up, no big Curling pro contracts or product deals in the wind.
Curling, as Lord Ellpus said so well, is an exciting spectacle that is a combination of sport and housecleaning

Tiebraking rule: as in the Summer Olympics fantasy game, in case of a tie in points, the winner will be whoever gets more points in Group C.

fbaezer, looking at the groups, I have to say you did a great job dividing
them up. Apparently you have done your homework!

Results after two days of competition, revised:

Things have changed dramatically!:

1. ossobuco 51 points
2. fbaezer 49
3. husker 48
4. George 40
5. jpinMilwaukee 35
6. jespah (trailing badly) 16

A great day for Norway men, Russia and Italy. Bad one for Germany.
The US women are yet to win a medal.

Estonia won its first winter olympic medal ever... and it meant 5 points for osso and me.

I think I overvalued alpine skiing (Croatia and Sweden). Hmmm.
And, just like in the Summer games, everyone understimated Korea.

(In case George asks, yesterday I was making a mistake in my excell-sheet, over-valuing Norway Men)

Here's my count. Where am I wrong?

Germany Women: 1 bronze = 1
Norway Men: 1 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze = 17
Germany Men: 2 gold = 10
Austria: 2 silver = 6
Switzerland: 1 bronze = 1
China: 1 silver, 2 bronze = 5
Czech Republic : 1 silver = 3

Total = 43

George, last night it was 1 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze for Norway men, on the official IOC page.

Torino Medal Standings

Things change by the hour.

It's still anybody's game.
