Lower ones - wow! I always thought it was the two upper ones.
She was the last one to lose a tooth in her class and she is one of the oldest. Her other upper front is very wiggly too. We will get lots of fun cute pictures with that empty space.
Well she comes home last night with a plastic cup full of flowers - little tooth remover boy gave them to her. He also promised her he would pull her other loose tooth the next day at school.
Young love.
Awwww....
Dentist said that sozlet's teeth are about to come out, leave 'em, don't do anything in particular, just wait. One of the two is getting ever-more wiggly, has to be right about to jump.
Has it bled at all? That was one indication that my daughter's tooth was days away from coming out. Anything that touched it made it bleed. Also it was completely detached on one side.
Just have some change ready (if you are like me and don't carry much cash).
Have her bite into something really hard and then it will.
Seriously my daughter was chewing gum and it started to bleed.
It's out!
Just plopped right out!
Right before bedtime, though, and I'm unprepared, since this has been dragging on forever -- I told her that it's kind of short notice for the toothfairy and she might not make it tonight but if not she'd definitely make it tomorrow.
Heh.
(Thinking, thinking, don't I have a Sacagaewa coin somewhere...?)
Thank you ladies for an informative and entertaining forum. I've had the same questions for my six year old boy and am glad to know it's all good (I hope!)! I was freaking out about the other tooth already coming in so much with the baby one just hanging on - did anyone experience the same?
No bloody mouth at the gym? No hanging on by a thread of flesh? No Slowly Wiggling the Tooth While it Move a Little Further Each Time?
Sozlet was gypped....
Congrats! It is so exciting for the little ones.
The other front tooth fell out for my daughter last week. I was brushing her teeth and forgot to be careful about the front ones - I brushed too hard and suddenly the tooth was gone - I had her spit in my hand - no tooth - just paste and blood (nice). Couldn't find it anywhere. As I walked out into the hallway I stepped on it - I must have brushed so hard the thing hit the mirror and bounced into the hallway.
As far as the adult tooth pushing the other out. It may have happened to one of my daughter's teeth as a day later you could see the adult tooth already coming in.
Do you care for the hole where the tooth used to be in any particular way?
The tooth fairy managed to visit after all, she was THRILLED this morning.

Ha. Duckie has just lost his two bottom teeth in the last 3 or 4 weeks. Luckily, hubby is a collector of two dollar bills.
I don't take any extra care for the "hole". I simply brush the teeth as normal and make sure she rinses well.
