I'm sorry for laughing guys but I just can't help it. Setanta has an awesome sense of humor. LOL and more often than not he hits the nail right on the head... Unfortunately though it is often missed in the midst of offence and wanting to make a point...

Come to think of it, using the word BIG GUY is also something Mr. Crusader hisself--G.W.Bush would say, sort of along the lines of "Your doin' a great job there, Brownie."

Ooops; I posted my reply to Set without reading the intervening posts.

As for the issue of whether homosexuality is a healthy lifestyle, I suggest a Google search of homosexual health.

As for whether homosexuality is a matter of choice, I would say for many it appears to be a Hobson's choice.

As for whether it is approved by God, judge for yourself.

If you are a voter and understand the issues, exercise your right.

tips for spotting the lunatic fringe;

They are so far out that they make you laugh, cry, or both.
They may showcase a idolatry towards inanimate objects, such as guns or money.
Claims by political groups that they represent the "mainstream" when in fact they are so far out of the stream that their feet aren't even wet.
They should refer to any amount of government greater than anarchy as "socialist"
They lean heavily towards paranoia, conspiracy theories and various permutations thereof. Extra padding on the walls for any mention of UN troops, one-world government, or black helicopters.
Excessive Bible-thumping and mis-interpretation of Scripture are always a bonus. An instant trip to the secure ward for anyone who claims God "hates" anyone.

googling for homosexual health, I get this:

http://perham.eot.com/~vati/peterson/abstract.html

Which argues that "affirming committed monogamous unions for homosexual persons" would do well to decrease unhealthy factors in a homosexual "lifestyle".

Frankly, I don't mind a homosexual marriage that isn't called a marriage, but the underlying "equal but not as equal" tone to it just doesn't sit well with me. Why call it anything else but a marriage?

Did I also mention that a Google search also turns up a lot of articles that are biased against homosexuals and written by anti-homosexuals?

I assert that whether homosexuality or bisexuality or transgendering is a choice or an imperative is irrelative to the issues of personal freedom. Care to contest?

You provided the premise that there was an understanding of the issues with the voter in question so it not be unreasonable to follow that you as the writer would have terms you were referring to.

I know. I hate sending folks off site. But there is so much being written, people should judge for themselves.

For example, I personally can't imagine anal intercourse, homosexual or otherwise, having any positive health benefits. But many obviously disagree.
