Why is it allowed to thrive here on A2K?

Most people are ethnocentric but being blatant about is what catches the eye.

All the usual suspects (except you CJ). It makes it easy when they pop up their heads like little range targets.

LOL LionTamer,

But I will attempt to turn this thread into a worthwhile discussion with a thoughtful post.

At the core of discussions of reverse racism is an "us versus them" mentality.

The idea is that if you support one group (i.e. them or people who aren't real Americans) you hurt another group (i.e. us or real decent Americans).

The "them" can include people who may be "Americans" but are morally deficient in some way-- i.e. homosexuals, racial minorities or poor people.

Examples of this idea that are often expressed by people on A2K include...

- Giving rights to homosexuals which hurts heterosexual marriages.
- Worrying about the rights of innocent Middle Eastern prisoners which puts the freedom of the United States at risk.
- Allowing religions to have equal footing which hurts Christianity.

I suspect these are the things that CJ is talking about.

ebrown, I would presume from my vantage point that you have it analyzed right on target.

Nope. In fact that shows a lapse in judgement on your part.

Rather than have us plow through every thread, it would be more conducive to discussion if you could be more specific about what you believe constitutes "reverse racism" and/or point out some specific examples on this discussion board. So, how about it?

Lady, I've been called every name in the book, while for the most part holding my tongue. Figure it out for yourself.

No, in your case, it is about all those Kiwis swarming your beaches, dressed in sheep's clothing.
