Another Bloody Day in Iraq While Bush Poses for Photo Op

Quote:
BAGHDAD, Iraq, Jan. 7 - Attacks by insurgents killed 11 members of the American forces and as many as 130 Iraqis in Karbala and Ramadi on Thursday.

The violence rekindled fears of a return to mass sectarian killings after a relative lull and prompted Iraq's most powerful Shiite political faction to warn of retribution and indirectly blame the United States for the bloodshed.

An American soldier and a Marine were among the more than 50 people who died in the Ramadi bombing, the military said in a statement released Friday morning.

...while Bush and friends pose for the cameras for yet another photo op trying to convince the easily fooled American sheeple that he is really not the boy in the bubble.

Can't imagine anybody else getting away with this administration's bullshet; as this administration and many republican members of congress are being investigated for crimes, and the world in Iraq and Afghanistan are increasing in violence with more American soldiers getting killed - all they can offer is an op ed to talk about our "economy." What a farce! Do you think that the American Sheeple will ever wake up from their stupor?

So, according to you, no president with a war should step in front of cameras? What is it that you are objecting to that every other president in American history hasn't done?

Talk about what's important; the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that are increasing in numbers of killings of both American soldiers and innocent Iraqis. "Stay the course" is no plan. The development of a Iraqi central government will not solve the centuries long divisions, nor the influence of Iran on Iraq politics - one of the worst nightmares for this administration.

Obvioulsy the president is able to multi-task. He doesn't need to concentrate solely on one issue at a time. All good bosses are able to do this.

ROFLMAO

His incompetence stretches from both wars in the Middle East, his inability to handle a crisis in our own country after Katrina, and he and his party being investigated for criminal activity.

Multi-task! You're kidding, right?

What was the plan in WW2 if not simply to prosecute it until we prevailed? Has our progress in all past wars been a straight line to success with no difficulties? Not everything worth doing is easy.

What is your BS argument that Americans talking like you are does not supply aid and comfort to the enemy?

Brandon, Diversions, the best this administration has to offer, does not work. You guys keep bringing up Clinton, but he's no longer in power to change the course of this country. Bushco is doing a piss-poor job in Iraq, Afghanistan, New Orleans, our borders, shipping containers coming into this country, and following the laws of this land. .

I see that you are unable to address a single question I asked you. You have no case.

Really? Which member of the Bush team is about to go to jail? What case is the Justice Department reviewing that lends support to anything you've said about Iraq? You have only slogans devoid of any real facts.

Facts will only escape you. All you need to do is do a search in Google. After you do that, please report back what you find.

YOu can start with some or all of the following:
Abramoff and justice department investigation
Quagmire in Iraq
Iran's influence in Iraq politics
Casualty of war in Iraq
The Iraq economy

So, the defense of your debating points is to tell your opponent to use Google. That's absurd. It is your responsibility to support assertions you make.

Brandon, In debate it's up to the individual to provide any challenge to statements made. Provide you challenges.

So your concept of debate is that you may reasonably post any assertions at all without a shred of evidence, and if your opponents don't like it, they must prove you wrong. That is not my idea of normal debate.

To leave the Iraqis with a functioning constitutional democracy which they have the ability to defend.
