US commentators! Dang it you are right!!! I just remembered that ABC broadcasts some games, but... the TV in the office can't tune ABC 10!!! Aaaargh! (But I can perfectly see the Ninja Turtles on Channel 6 mwahaha).

I'm sticking to poor AM radio. Sad

You are right CJ, we haven't seen a lot of good football in this WC, but rather scaredy teams playing aggressively... towards the rival players.

Americans in general hate referees and often wish sports could get along without them.

They're singing "God save the Queen"

The English fans seem quite explosive and I hope there is enough police
around for the aftermath, whatever outcome there might be.

el_pohl, when Germany : Argentinia was playing yesterday,
I was listening to a Mexican radio station while
driving to the office. The commentators screamed so much,
there was no way to understand anything, let alone my limited
Spanish anyways....

Gosh, the penalty kicks were pure excitement !!!

England is going home! I am so sorry for our English friends here,
but we were rooting for Portugal. The have clearly the cuter guys Wink

I am just afraid of the English fans now. Let's hope they leave
peacefully.

LOL CJ! But wasn't it exciting!?!?

OMG! That was a fun PK session!!! Ricardo owns! English fans are entering hooligan mode! Brasil - Portugal (I guess), what a marvelous Semi!

After watching mexicans so many times do it, it's great to see someone else missing PK's!!!

no riots yet. but few portuguese here. apart from sardines. grilling nicely.

Seriously did anyone anywhere ever really honestly believe England would win the the world cup?

They were quite a good team and after Rooney send off and Beckam off injured they actually played like...well like lions.

But...

No problem really. Its only a game. The art is not necessarily to win but to lose with grace...(not that many English fans in Germany will).

Still its a pity Crying or Very sad

Time for a - hopefully - well played match. I would like to see Brazil eliminated, but by Portuguese hands, err... feet.

BUT

we can all (English Czech Dutch Ghanians and quite few others) now enjoy the World Cup.

And in 9 mins FRANCE AGAINST BRAZIL

can there be a better game?

Allez les Bleues.

Me too!!! It's about time the Europeans take over the cup again.
0 : 0 so far and hopefully not another penalty kick to define the winner.
In essence, that leaves such a sour note on everyone, as penalty kicks
do injustice to the team itself.
