I love the way everyone wants a piece of the English Cool

By the way, England have beaten Argentina the last two times they've played them, with the game in Geneva last year being one the best best friendly matches I've seen in recent times. England 3 - 2 Argentina. I personally felt that a draw was the fair result in that game but we really went for it right till the end, it was a great game to watch though. We played with a bit more freedom in that game, something we've lacked badly in the WC so far.

EDIT: I don't believe so Wilso.

the english are serious retards !!!

only a bunch of stupid bumpkins can believe that the pom team is better than argentina or ever was. mradona is more talented than all the english players put togeher.

and the english media is full of horse ****.

wayne rooney was declared a "pele" (nothing less) even before he played his first international match.
in cricket grame hick was called the "next bradman".
an ass like phil tuffnell was called a "match winning spinner".
in tennis tim hennmann was compared to bjorg and everyone else.

you guys suck ass at every sport and yet think no end of yourself. your media is the biggest bunch of retarded jerks who ever walked the earth. and the people are the biggest collection of village idiots who believe every hogwash that their media dishes out (eg - beckham is a good player - my ass) and think no end of your mediocre sportsmen.

if the refferee wasnt a cheater then germany would have won the world cup in 66 or when evr it was that the poms managed to win one by fluke.
you never won nothing in cricket in any case.

the pom football team are most unlikely to win another one any time soon. not this team full of ageing jerks and baboon faced bafoons, not wih the current brazilian and argentinian teams around.

I thought Crouch was treated a little unfairly because of his size by the ref in that game to be honest.

Pulling hair and shirts in order to pull players down is something else entirely.

thats england main contribution to footbalkling tactics. feigning injuries, pulling hair, latching on to clothing, talking big and crying like sissies when a genius gives them a dose of their own medicine (i mean the hand of god goal, the other goal - which involved the hand of god to perhaps a greater extent, is something pom players can only dream of)

Well, Im angry and sad. And dissappointed, and confused. And angry. And more confused to see my so called mexican brethren celebrating in the streets as if they had hunger for patriotism. I still believe we can beat Portugal, because we always play better against strong teams. Geez... I'm preparing myself for the 4 year lament.

Go Italy! Razz

Agree to disagree on that one FreeDuck, I saw him get penalised one too many times for hands up in the air with next to no contact but of course I can't get on board with hair pulling, not that he'll of thought too hard about that, it's a gut reaction to get any advantage you can sometimes. He's always come off to me as being a decent lad, kinda modest so I say good luck to him.

Ghana 1-0 up!

Yeah... Ghana 1-0 up indeed.

By the way, I understand theres a 5th referee in the sidelines with a headset and an old school TV in front of him. But, why is he there and what does he do? I thought a "coache's challenge" a la NFL would be implemented in the tourney.

well i think that the poms are a spineless lot who dont know how to give credit where it is due. thats why they dont like madarona. the english wioll never be able to play half the game that argentina played yesterday and yet they dont applaud cos of some falkland war.

what what about the million wars the poms and the genocides they themselves caused?/

now do you know why the world only has hatred and more hatred for this land of spineless scanevgers??

and lord whatever, the poms are the grumpiest and most illbred people in the world. just look at their soccer hooligans and beerbellied louts. they are the ones the whole planet should put on iggy.

Well, Brahmin, I'm not English and I don't like Maradona because he's a big-haired cheater. I'm also no fan of imperialism, but Argentina has a reputation for shiftiness. I acknowledge that they have an excellent team. But I don't have to like them.

Penalty kick for Ghana. Come on....

Son of a...

So, he's about to kick, but the Czek player is giving the ref hell. So the ref gives Czek guy a red (don't know why), but Ghana guy is already kicking and scores. But the ref gives HIM a yellow for kicking too early and he has to shoot it again. And he misses. This is some crazy ****.

Professional foul (hoping that is the correct English term - we call it in German "emergency brake" )

Maradona is not a big-haired cheater. He was a good player and he is a good character, even if his drug period is negative for his image.

The ones who are blaming him are probably jealous anti-Argentinians.

Five consecutivy offsides for Ghana, quite funny seeing that in a live feed. But even funnier is Ghana's player name, Pimpong!
