Need some help from someone used to the world cup system.

I caught the tail end of a commentary where the gist was the "expert commentators" were concerned about the yellow cards issued to Aussie backs.
my sense of what was said indicated that yellow card carry forward from one game to another. is this so?
As an example if Moore gets another yellow card in Aust V Brazil it will result in a send off. is this so?

let me get this straight. 2 yellow cards = auto send off, even if one was issued in another match?

How far forward do the cards carry, this round only? all tournament?

Two yellow cards - out ... in the group matches.

Yellow cards from the group matches don't count later, though: you start at zero again.

Unlucky Togo..but very naive at times.

Currently sat with lights on (mid afternoon) thunder and lightening. Cooler weather/rain forcast for Germany. Will Rooney play against Trinidad and Tobago? Will anyone try and "accidentally" stand on his right foot if he does play? Will this precipitate world war 3? Heaviest rain just now I have seen...since ...it rained as hard as this last time.

Bloody hell, some vicious lightening and instantaneous thunder...really close by. It didnt sound like thunder, more like a huge machine gun.

That's why I disappeared, Steve....bloody lightning strike VERY nearby and we had a power cut. I thought my computer had blown up.

I thought England played badly the other day.....now I've seen the French first half, I don't feel so bad.

My brother has lived down on the French/Swiss border for over twenty years, so his loyalty is split today.

He therefore doesn't know whether to yodel or surrender.

He doesn't rate the French team at the moment....says they are not a patch on the cup winning team.

Your brother appears to be correct, LE. That was very poor fare indeed.

Perhaps this will be corrected but, if memory serves, France failed to score in three attempts at the last World Cup. They seem to be unable to lift their game and play at a sluggish pace.

Wonder which Brazil will turn up tonight. Their depth of talent is frightening...

Brazil is looking a tad lazy. I wonder if maybe all the players have been over-indulging in the German beer. That goes for the US team, too.

No disgrace to Croatia. They played well and actually deserved to get something (i.e. a draw) out of this match.

Hey Walter, how are our boys ("fans") behaving in Nuernberg? There were some distasteful scenes of English fans (in Frankfurt I think) shown on our ITV News this evening.

[Channel 5 this morning, pretty female presenter, spoke about "Frankfart"]
