I was thinking: dodging trouble from FIFA...a copyright

OK understand, but we gave the game to the world, the copyright belongs here
Hey Steve did you see that Panorama prog about Sepp Blatter, Joao Havelange and FIFA corruption?
These are very naughty boys.

Me neither - Mrs. Walter bought the official FIFA magazine ...
Interesting "strategy" by the Italians (until now): counterattacks from the favourite ...
Ghana's goalkeeper, though, seems to be a kind of fly catcher ...
Wow, 50%/50% ball possession exactly, Italy:Ghana, who'da thought eh?
I'm for the underdog of course but those Ghanaians are makin it difficult, cause they sure play rough. And too careless once they get in front of the enemy goal.
I'm sad I'm missing it. I really want at least one African team to make it out of their group. I was pulling for Ivory Coast, but now I'm thinking it might be Ghana and/or Tunisia.
Great match.Ghana's keeper plays a dangerous free for all style so Italy switched to a short corner and the first goal got through at eye level through a crowd.Good coaching
The USA-Czech Republic game was fun to watch.
Americans are good, tactically disciplined and never give up. But they have never had any real talent (except for Reyna) and their team is getting old.
The Czechs have been impressive for years. And today they played without Baros, lost Smicer for the tournament and will probably lose Koller too. But they were soooo superior.
I wonder if Bruce Arena and Landon Donovan can still claim the USA is top of the Concacaf.
They will. They have big mouths.
Here's the problem. Arena has been grooming the MSL as a farm team for USA...but the league is much inferior to FA and European leagues...the US players(except for a few in Europe) don't get international exposure and it shows every four years
I know bugger all about this really but Ghana seems to be playing more like Angola: hard and physical, even if they got a fair bit of flair on the ball as well. But both also lack direction in finishing off. Ivory Coast on the other hand seemed to play a prettier, more individualist, but less effective kinda football, each player rushing forward by his own a dying swan. Dont think any of 'em are gonna make the second round.
Killer goal by Italy there in the first half, damn.

According to sport-news agencies, after the CT Koller said, he could play in four days again.

looked like a hamstring ...not too serious
Well, 2:0 - the result is not mirroring the match, I think.
'morning, all!
small celebration here!
We're happy just to get there - but now we're there, we may as well play! Avago~!
Now for a South American team - apparently have some sort of history at this sort of thing...ho hum!

That's a very interesting point you made there, McTag.

Hamstring injuries can be very debilitating.
I saw it McT. I think that FIFA will try to cover it up, but that auditor guy seems like a bit of a terrier to me. Plus the fact that the ex staff from ISL are now beginning to talk.
This could end up ripping FIFA apart, methinks.
