sweden showing some sign of frustration at their inability to finish off.

creating many many oppotunities just need to be a little more patient work the ball around the box, back to the flanks then in again.

I wonder whether Sweden will see the whole game out given the speed of this game.

I am late to this, but I don´t think Germany played too good. Havin
the Costa Ricans as opponents helped them tremendously - with any
other good team, the Germans would have lost. They were playing
quite mediocre.

Haven´t seen any other game yet.......

****. Red card for Trinidad (Avery John) -- I don't think it was deserved. Thinks have taken a distinct turn for them, I think, and it looks like Sweden will have every opportunity to win this game.

Trinidad has balls. They're down a man and playing just two in the back against an attacking bunch of Swedes. If this game ends in a draw, it's to the credit of Trinidad.

The red card was for mouthing off at the ref. the ref showed a yellow for the tackle.

I watched germany and england match and kept thinking why dont they have a go.

This is much more interesting.

I don't know if they can keep up the pace of this game for 20 more minutes. But I'm pulling hard for Trinidad. Though, Sweden is so good, I won't cry if they win.

Ok, turns out the red was because it was his second yellow card, so I guess that's fair. Still, he was going for the ball, he got the ball, I think it was a fair tackle.

Terrific stuff by T & T. Thoroughly deserved to hold out.

Their supporters were fantastic as well.
