I'm sure y'all are right. I'm thinking about the soz family tonight and hoping all is as well as can be expected.

Checking in to see if there's any news yet. In the meantime, here's a video for the Sozlet.

@jespah,
Yeah, let's walk around a bit. I saw one of the doctors emerging from behind
the scenes, perhaps we can talk to him......aehm, maybe not!

@FreeDuck,
You guys are so sweet...

Yep, we just got home. She's fine.

I have a bunch of people to notify and general sozlet-watching to do so will keep it short and give the full account later.... But briefly, we did indeed end up staying at the hospital overnight (not planned -- we were supposed to come home at ~6 PM yesterday). The surgeries themselves went well but she was, as is her wont, extremely nauseous afterwards. This necessitated a hospital stay + IV fluids until she could keep stuff down.

More later, and thanks for all the good wishes!

@sozobe,
That makes perfect sense. Glad they kept her and that you guys are back home. Sending anti-nausea and general feel-better vibes to the sozlet.

I figure the barfing was from the anaesthesia, not that I know for sure. Poor sweet sozlet.

Love from us to her.

Feel better soon, Sozlet!

I had 20/400 vision. Wore contacts at 12 til 28. Messed up my eyes (Always check the chemicals!) Ended up getting lazy (contacts were uncomfortable) and wearing glasses til I was 36. Had lasik surgery. Now have 20/40 vision. Love it! And because my one eye is still a little nearsighted, I won't need reading glasses for quite some time! Yeah!
