Not necessarily . . .

That would simply be the most gross case of argumentum ad populum . . . it would not be unreasonable to assert that at one time, every human on earth believed that the sun orbits the earth . . .

Anatole France says it best: If fifty million people say a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.

Yes it is nice for me . Do you believe it? It is so true that even if trillions of years have gone by.....No one will ever...be like you.

I haven't the least doubt that the thought is a great comfort to many of those who haunt these boards . . . emoticons are in very bad taste, so i'd appreciate it if you did not use them in posts addressed to me. However, as is the case with MOAN, i doubt that such a consideration will deter you.

Do you believe anyone will ever come about that is exactly like you in every way?

Who is MOAN?

You ask too many questions, Barfikus, for someone who otherwise writes with such certitude on the spiritual state of the human race. You're a fool if you think you can draw me into your silly word games.

Here's a dollar kid, go tell yer ma she wants ya . . .

If one cannot see the true value in themselves....they will not see much value in others.

I did not ask many questions at all...I merely posed the same question over and over of which you refused to answer.

That's ok....the truth stands. Even if no man answers.

I have never made an assertion even remotely resembling your characterization. You are projecting your petty resentments onto me.

How about this Set?

This is not so at all. When i characterized christians as ignorant, for example, you resorted to the "i know you are, but what am i?" style of schoolyard attempt to insult--as though i had claimed to personally be ignorant in a case when i was clearly speaking of christians. You attempt that method all the time, and it does not redound highly to your maturity.

That's right, it couldn't--because i don't use that method.

That's right, it couldn't, because i don't put myself above others--this is once again your childish resentment projected onto me.

I don't, and have never made any such claim.

Nor have i made the claim. Once again, you're projecting your resentments. It is gratifying to know, however, that the barbs i shoot have hit home so well.

Prevarications? I wonder. You do try to put yourself above others. However, you fail to be successful in your attempt.

One. I will treat you as such whether you see this truth or not.

Even if you see me as a fool. I know the truth and may the truth set you free.

One time as a child we all knew this to be true.....the actions of others slowly convinced us otherwise. Believing in only what we seen.

We were convinced of a lie by evidence and the lie became as truth unto us.

The fruits of that lie have taken hold on nearly the entire of humanity.

If I am a fool and a pile of feces.....what is the result of this.

The world we now inhabit becomes an ever growing nightmare. Unless we cast aside this lie and grab hold of the truth.....we will never be free!
