@tenderfoot,
Yup! You got it! That is what I meant! I do not have anything to say to you regarding your little webs, or why you feel a need to try to deceive people...please leave me alone...You go your way, I will go mine...

You don't get it mate...don't worry about it anymore...

As with theists everywhere, plain and simple evidence is presented right in front of your eyes, but you prefer to be blind to it and carry on with your fantasies. Wink

@FBM,
What plain and simple evidence are you referring to?

I explained the answer, and you quoted that question once again, which means you did or do not understand...

That is, after someone else who is probably pretty close to the agnostic position from a personal self description, but is probably not exact... explained how they understood what I meant...In their own subjective ways...

I am not trying to say that you are an agnostic, or because they say that they are close to it that they must not be able to understand or anything like that...

But it does point out that you did not grasp what I was explaining...

Maybe it is because you do not make suspended judgments like you have said...Or perhaps you tried to out think something that you are not able to...

As in the Spirit of God...

I will try this one time, and one time only...and if you vear off, or are not honest or upfront...then I am going to drop it...and leave it alone...and I mean what I say this time...

Do you honestly think that it is possible you did not understand? Or do you think that you have, and I am actually, honestly doing any of those notions that you have "claimed" I am?

(All I need is an answer to these questions at the bottom)

And all I am asking for is honesty...

Then, I will give my time to anyone looking for it...

If not, then I have no reason to care...

You either want me to explain, or you do not...If you do, I will, if you do not, then I will not...

I did not think that you would find anything complex about it, I knew that you would have an empirical understanding about it that is why I thought the question should be directed at someone like you.

Why anyone would ask such a dimwitted question is beyond me, but you've cornered the market in such things.

Exactly Izzy, You have told me and many others that we are less intelligent than you in many ways that is why I chose you who is someone more informed than me.

As far as credibility goes, yours is at rock bottom.

That is why I have chosen you as a creditable source.

That's why you parrot Melanie Phillip's bigoted hysteria about shariah law being imposed in the UK. It's nonsense, and a smokescreen for your obvious dislike of darker coloured people.

You seem to know things about me that I am unaware of, You must be a true genius.

Oh I see that was why Jesus was Jesus?

Was the letter J even thought up when Jesus walked the earth?

Well, at least I now can say that I am sure I understand why you chose to include my name in the post you had originally posted...even if you wanted to avoid mine about knowing why you think that people are "socoipathic"...

I showed you I cared, and knew what you meant...You dusted me off and paid no attention to me...after a weak question about what I would like to say to you...with which I also answered and brought the attention right back to the point...

What you are sharing are your perceptions and not exactly what I think but I hope to start a new thread where we can all see that we are trying to be respectful [if we truly are] and where we can all be intellectually honest with one another without meaning no harm or ill intent to each other.

@reasoning logic,
Sounds good to me...and I will make the first step in contribution...I apologize if my perceptions are in fact wrong...and it does not require you to explain exactly why you chose to include my name...

How have you been doing?

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
I quoted as evidence something that you denied you said. Your subsequent "explanation" is an admission that you couldn't know what you previously claimed to know. Like I observed before, my real problem with engaging in debate with you is your intellectual dishonesty.

I should have read your post before I replied to Frank. In this we are of the same mind.

@FBM,
What is waiting in the wings with forwards, flat-out scientific thought based on what might be done with no controls?

What do you do with the unindoctrinated young, poor or rich?

Why don't atheists take political power? It should be a piece of cake.

Teach them critical reasoning skills so that they can think for themselves.

On what planet? One is leading Australia, I'm told, but in the US, the religious majority:

And what do you do, if after all that, they don't think the same way as you?

Why would I expect them to think the same way as I do? They're different people, growing up in different times.

I can understand somebody suffering rejection writing shite like that but sympathising with it is beyond my comprehension. Which I'll allow is no big deal because there's plenty of other things that do also.

Not sure what that second sentence of yours attempts to communicate, Spendius...but the first I understand completely. I read most of your posts and it is rather evident that there are many things that are "beyond your comprehension."

I hafta wonder why any GOD who actually wants humans to know that IT exists...and who wants humans to know what pleases IT and what offends IT...

...cannot do a better job of transmitting that information to everyone, so that we do not have to rely on people like Spade and you to filter the information and pass it on.

Thanks Frank...no one has to believe it is true...everyone has a choice...not sure if I could answer the second part...I think that everyone, even believers have a long ways to go...I think that people can only see things if they start to let go of every personal desire that they have that we know is not necessary...that is not centered around being free, or happy forever...

Certain people are at different levels of spirituality...

It does not have anything to do with what I can or can not transmit...

It has to do with oneself actually realizing this upon their own, if they freely want to do it...

Are you of the opinion that IF a GOD exists and wanted everyone to know that IT exists...IT could not do a better job of letting everyone know???

I understand that you feel that way, Izzy. Some people do not like the sound of Mozart's music...I love it. Some think Vincent Van Gogh was a lousy painter...I love his work.

I think Tim Rice's lyrics hit many a nail squarely on its head.
