Neither party has a lock on perfection. Generally when either party has full control, things go downhill.
This current administration just happens to be the most corrupt and incompetent in matters of extreme importance of any administration I can remember.
The most incompetent, eh? Did you sleep thru the late 90's ?
Terrorists attacked Americans in AT LEAST 4 major incidents (World Trade Center bombed, 2 embassies in Africa bombed, Khobar Towers bombed, USS Cole attacked) with no measurable response on our part. (There are other incidents in which some think foreign terrorists may have shared at least some responsibility as well).
Do you think 9/11 would have happened if Clinton had pursued the same policy in response to these 4 clear cut examples as Bush has?
Most incompetent?
The stock market collapse of 2000 as exemplified by the NASDAQ fall of 50% in value in just 1 year can be traced almost to the day the Clinton administration decided to sue Microsoft and imperil the entire tech sector out of vengeance for Bill Gates' refusal to pony up in any significant way out of his many billions for the Democratic party.
The economic stagnation that Bush inherited 12 months later is a direct result of this stock market drubbing.
