if i get the chance, i'll take on chessman. there's 2 people ahead of me in the line. one of them might beat him first, or he might reject my challenge. Razz

I wouldn't worry about that. His ego will probably get the better of him. there's no real lineup. A person can accept /reject whomever they like.

Do you agree with my assesssment as to how he got his rating?

well, he's beaten one player 6 times, and 2 others 4 times apiece, so that's obviously a factor. but e-trade looks like a legit conquest, although i haven't looked at his games that much.

earlier, i saw a game that was amazing. it lasted all of 6 moves, and either checkmate or someone loses a queen, and both players were 2600+. Rolling Eyes but now i can't find it anymore. what a spectacle/farce. Laughing

Trust me - he's not. He's been caught in the past "as playing with himself". No, not in the usual sense Laughing , but creating another account and loosing from one to another. Unfortunately, this is possible.

So, there are a few cheats like that.

Laughing Yup, unfortunately that happens some, too.

I've been on the site since March 2000, so I know many of the characters.

I hope you beat the bugger.

Well, gotta go. If you still want to ask, leave your note on the table by the TV, and lock the door on the way out, okay?

Thanks, until tomorrow.

It herds so much though I flock I should do something.......

I'll stop being silly and return you to your regular Reyn frequency.

I may be buying a Chow Chow pupa from a fellow in Abbottsford, name of Dave. He says the Chow Chow parents came from South America (Brazil he may have said?) as did he some while ago.

He wants $1000 for each pupa, which I think is insanely high for a casual backyard breeder with no real skills, nor assurances, nor CKC registering etc.

Well, you didn't really ask a question, but if you're asking me if paying $1000 for a dog is a lot of money, my response would certainly be, "yes it is"!

I take it you have shopped around for this?

And, no, by the way, I don't know any breeders for dogs like you mention.

I've tried, but local choices for Chows are few and far between and pricey.

Chumly, perhaps your search would be best if you started with this site here:

Guide to purebred dogs in British Columbia

I see no Chows are listed, but maybe somebody knowledgeable could steer you in the right direction.
