Funny, because when my wife and I go out to a restaurant, we order iced tea with no ice. Good stuff.

i had a friend played piano by ear

ba-dum-bum
I should say she also reads music very well.

It's wonderful to be talented at something.
I've never found that I was talented in anything. I always wished I had some talent in drawing. I get too easily frusterated and give up.
I did play the clarinet in school for a couple of years. Was okay, but was known to produce the odd squeak during concerts.
Reyn everyone has some sort of gift recognized or not - I'm sure you do.
An artist many times may be frustrated. I acutually hate writing - and usually want to answer everthing in 10 words or less.
so I've only writtien 90,000 words or less here on A2k, I bet much less due to posting pictures and others quotes.
Well, if I have a talent, I have yet to find it, unless, organizing is a talent. I'm pretty good at organizing stuff.
Writing I'm not too bad at. Not prose by any means.

With the right program, anybody could do it.
Don't get me wrong. It's fun, but I don't really consider that there's any talent involved with it.
Once I get a digital camera, there will probably be some of my pics showing up here and there.

I don't think the amount is that important. Rather that you have participated in this forum called "Able2Know".
I consider it a group effort. Working together as a team, I think we all have made something quite unique on the internet.
well if you don't feel talented, at least understand that you are appreciated
and do get that camera , i love pics of the west coast

Thanks! Maybe talent is in the eye of the beholder.
One of the future features that I have planned is to show photos of my town and area, and probably some artsy type of stuff.
And, of course, more pics of our cats!
come on Reyn a talent no matter the size

The talent is partly to do with having the idea in the first place. YOU did that, nobody else. Right program? You had to determine what that program was. You had to arrange the collage in a suitable way. Talent? Don't rate yourself so low, Reyn. We see the talent.
Reyn, my dear, do you suffer from a humility complex? I'm curious to know the answer to this question. Do you ever say: "Gee, I did a great job on ........* ?
(*something anyone can see you did well.)
I see you, Reyn, as having a developed curiosity, and a sense of play with that.
I am one of those who tends not to think that people don't have talent.. if you follow that.
I spent my childhood hearing from my mother how she couldn't draw a straight line. Indeed some people can, but expression doesn't rest on hand eye coordination.
I am also one of the people - in contrast to my now xbusiness partner but still pal, that believes design and creativity can be taught. Not that it is taught to blank slates, but that people have some creativity lurking and can learn how to play with it. I did learn how to play with it, and if I did, anybody without severe disability can.
I am coming around after all these years to think interest is the trick, and perhaps the only trick.
I know some portion of every grammar school class can draw horses on their bookcovers, or do graphically interesting, heh, drawings... and everybody thinks, usually, that all others are out to lunch on that. I say they are wrong, facility is only facility. Lack of facility may bring up more close attention ...
Er, on severe disability, I mean really severe re ability to grasp concepts - never mind, another whole subject.

Well, thanks again for saying so. I just don't think it's that big of a deal.

I can't take credit for having the original idea. That goes to 'superjuly'. I just expanded on her idea.
I don't think I'm being modest here. I just feel that it's a simple idea that some people think is kind of neat. I don't feel that talent is needed to accomplish it, at least the definition that I have of talent in the traditional sense.
I'm just pleased that some have taken an interest in the work.
End of story.
