Anybody else fond of anisette with coffee?

I love anisette on ice. Do you have a recipe? Please post it.
Simple:
pour coffee
pour anisette
drink
Hot or cold, ice or not? What type of glass do you serve it in?
With a generic anisette, I'll pour it right into a cup of hot black coffee.
Think: flavoring with an attitude.
With my favorite, Sambuca, serve the Sambuca in a liqueur glass with a
couple of coffee beans floating on top. Accompany with a cup of coffee.
Sip o' this, sip o' that.
Yum.
Thanks, love it *giggles*
This is reminding me of an old dessert we used to serve occasionally...
Bowl
scoop of good vanilla ice cream
spoonful of ground espresso coffee beans
shot of good scotch, e.g., Macallans
That sounds like the perfect food.
I love scotch almost as much as coffee.
Yummy, sounds delicious osso!
wow.. that sounds pretty good actually.
My absolute favorite coffee comes from Kenya.
The market here has a constant supply of it, so i spoil myself every week.
ohhh yummy.
I will have to look at the label when i go to the store tonight.
there isnt much in the way of details because it is sold in bins of whole beans.
You basically, make your own bag and grind it there.
But I will see if there is anything specific about it ( flavoring, caffeine amount etc..)
Have you ever tried Sumatran, shewolf? It's my favorite.
no.
I cant say that I have heard of it either?
Do you have to special order it anywhere? Or can it be found in some stores/markets?
Starbucks carries it, definitely one of their better coffees.

It's from Sumatra (country in Africa), so they might sell it where you get your coffee from Kenya.
Sumatra is actually in Indonesia (I can't believe a caught Tico on a geography mistake!).
That coffee is outstanding. Very rich, strong taste.
Starbucks also sells a Guatamalen that is excellent.

So you did ... and me with no ability to go back and correct my mistake.
