Wow, mckenzie, I was about to whine at the mid-teens we expect to have tonight, but minus zero puts me to shame.

Next time you're in Florida, please come by Ponte Vedra Beach. We're between St. Augustine and Jacksonville.

We would have missed you this time, because we are still in Connecticut, but let me know when you'll be there next and I'll try to be there at the same time.

Same weather today as yesterday. Even the dog doesn't want to go out, poor little guy.

Misti, thanks.

We're predicted to have some uneven weather for the remainder of this week, with ups and downs between 60 to 69. Wink c.i.

Diane, the St. John's County area, St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra Beach, is our first choice. We really like that area and picked up some info from some real estate agents on our way home.

Houston has lows predicted in the upper 20s on Thursday and Friday night. That's a real problem in a city where most people don't own a coat! I see people in shorts every day here (and I don't mean joggers) - they're in denial that it's 40 degrees outside... Smile

Are all those round thingies hurricanes? 'cause if they are, uh-oh. Shocked

I never realized Saipan was so close to Guam.

McKenzie -- St. Augustine & the northern area is pretty, isn't it? Did you like the keys?? Where'd you stay?

Weather here has hovered between 36F and 41F -- at least it is not rainy but it sure feels COLD!

it's the predicted path of the storm. i just checked in again and the storm is predicted now to pass north of us instead of the south and possibly hit the island of rota.

during the last typhoon, the joint typhoon warning center predicted that the typhoon would pass to the east of us. the national weather service predicted it would pass south. the typhoon of course ignored both predictions and passed right over us.

pueo, doesn't look so good. I think I'll keep the cold!

piffka, it is pretty, but for beauty, I'll take your Pacific coast any day. The Keys were great. The one part of Florida we'd never visited before. Very laid back, very friendly. We had a wonderful time. Stayed at the Key West Golf Club, about 5 miles from downtown Key West, on Stock Island. Far from the madding crowd. A beautiful setting. Very private.

It's warming up here this evening ... to about 0 F. Did I say warm?

That's nice of both of you to say. I think that the PNW looks like so many other places... but all jumbled together. I've got an idea! Come visit!!!

I did love Florida and the Keys though. whoo-weee -- I'd love to go back! Nice weather too, even if it is a 2-soxer! Misti -- Your low of 43 is higher than our high!

Misti -- that sounds just about perfect!

Hey ladies, I have a very rustic beach cabin... it's empty... just waiting for friends to drop in. Of course, it's by a PNW beach, meaning... you're more likely to see a seal than somebody in a bikini.

Pueo, how often do storms like that happen? Scary!
What do you do on Guam in addition to the wild social life you're always talking about?

Misti, after our get together in Florida, why don't we meet mckenzie in WA and get into some trouble with piffka? I have met her and can guarantee she is a load of fun.
