The very dry weather of the last months let to huge falls in water levels of Germany's rivers, hindering freight shipping on the Rhine,Elbe, Weser and Danube rivers, most vessels are sailing only 30 to 60 percent full.
Additonally, a lot of WWII are found now, leading to evacuation of villages and towns. (Today and yesterday, about ten smaller bombs alone - up to 250 kilograms - were defused around the famous Loreley Rock.)
