@jcboy,
It's a breezy 70 f, with fluffy clouds day and going up to 80 F, supposedly today. Good day for a brisk walk on the beach. Let's see if I can get down to Siesta Key beach (20 mins ride). The sand there is so white and like sugar crystals that you could bottle it.

@jcboy,
I'm almost positive that I have. I looked at it on my GPS (Woody's Waterfront Cafe and Beach Bar). It looks familiar but then again so do 100 other FL beach cafes. According to the pics, those large striped sun umbrellas and the expanse of the beach front is awesome. It's in a pretty area so I'll have to head over there and see how their Mango maragaritas are! Drunk

@cicerone imposter,
Two is my limit. I only drink them at places that make good ones. That isn't too often. Most places use a lemon-lime powdered mix so ... ptui!

The very dry weather of the last months let to huge falls in water levels of Germany's rivers, hindering freight shipping on the Rhine,Elbe, Weser and Danube rivers, most vessels are sailing only 30 to 60 percent full.

Additonally, a lot of WWII are found now, leading to evacuation of villages and towns. (Today and yesterday, about ten smaller bombs alone - up to 250 kilograms - were defused around the famous Loreley Rock.)
The most recent is the largest ever, in Koblenz (Rhine): Second World War bomb leads to mass evacuation of German town (They've found additionally three more large bombs around there, not yet mentioned in the above quoted report.)

@jcboy,
Hey, I left Denver at -something and flew to southern California. On the pier at Redondo it was +45. And breezy. It was all I could do to quell the hibernation reflex.

@Walter Hinteler,
That's bad news Walter, but better you find them than they find you.

5,000 on average per year in Germany - though that was one of the biggest.

First day this week that we've had no rain to speak of here in Hilo, HI. Well, a drizzle early this a.m., that's all. But windy. Surf's waaay up and the surfing fraternity is out full-force.

It went down to 45 deg f last night and it's still 46. Most gorgeous sunrise right now so I took some amazing pics from my balcony.
