pueo - good point..... I have to go rethink this whole "soda is bad for you, m'kay" thing......

I know! Most sodas (all big name sodas) have artificial flavors/colors... bad for you stuff.

and a.b.a. has alkyhol Drunk

btw, can anyone explain to me what in the world is a "artificial" flavor or color.

to my simple mind, a flavor is a flavor, and a color is a color. a taste has a taste, what's artificial about it? ditto with color, come on, "artificial coloring?"

ok, end of rant. Smile

ooooohhhh! Soda is so bad for you!

Yes it is. . .. . . and I had all but cut it out but I couldn't get to the sink to wash my mug so without my tea to distract me it was off to the soda machine Sad I'll do better this weekend. . .. . . I don't keep soda in the house.

Pueo - beer's been around nearly as long as we've had civilization. It is made of wholesome goodness. Soda is artificial in that the stuff that makes of the color and flavor are not natural. And before you say it, yes, I do try to drink beers that are more natural than not. I just like'm better that way. Now, Blue sky soda, and other natural sodas.... 'ave at em.

Did you all know that the increased drinking of soda by teen females has shown to correlate with loss of bone density. Science is, I think, not sure as of yet weather that's due to less milk drinking or something more directly associated with soda consumption.

Last night I had 4 pints, 4 330ml bottles of Heiniken, 5 Slices of Super Supreme Pizza and 3 (0.5mg) Xanan. I'm on a bit of a health kick.

excellent point. exactly the way i feel. i use beer as a defense against all the bad food i ingest. i refute all the medical data that say otherwise. bucha quacks! Laughing

My theory: they say 1-2 drinks a day is good for the heart.

Since I don't drink during the week(usually), I have to catch up on the weekend.

Beer: good.

I'm not sure that reasoning works Slappy.

And Pueo - science has defined moderation in terms of drinking. Like Slappy says, 1-2 drinks a day is good for you. As soon as you drink the 3rd (maybe 4th) drink, the benefits cease and the drink turns around to become bad for you.

The problem is that for many people after the 3rd or 4th things start to become fun.
