Yours sounds more middle-eastern

Middle-eastern? I do not think so. I had almost similar menu (except Coca-Cola®) in the Soviet Union. I cannot eat middle-eastern food, it is too spicy for me, and it causes heartburn.

For breakfast I had a piece of Wisconsin Gouda cheese, a slice of cotto salame, and vitamins with water.

For lunch I had a spicy chicken dish with onions and jalapenos in a cream sauce, with broccoli and just a tiny bit of rice.

And I've lost five pounds in two weeks.

Little k--

I can sense your gastronomic restraint washing in great waves across the eastern seaboard.

My breakfast:

Metamucil wafers
2 cups of tea
3 oz. grape juice/ 3 oz. cranberry juice
Half a stick of landsjagger

Lunch:

Half a crab cake--which wasn't worth finishing
A good bit of spinach salad
Two gumdrops--one small and sour, one outsized and chewy. I've put the chewy gumdrops up high so I'll have to get out the kitchen stool to raid my stash.

Dinner will be:

Half a meatloaf sandwich on whole grain bread.
Oriental bean salad

Noddy - it's the cycle talking. I obey the cycles. Maybe that's my problem.

Slappy it was pre-made and it was Thai but it was some kind of Mammagram chicken (OK maybe Massaman). It just didn't come together that well -- each individual taste was fine, but... I expect better of TJ's.

I'm so sick of this damn cake. It's perfectly wonderful cake, as cakes go, but I can take only so much of the same thing. Anyone want about 1/4 of a 2-layer chocolate-chocolate (choc frosting) homemade cake? Minimal gnaw marks. (A three-foot-tall person who shall remain nameless got a chair and chowed down when it was sitting on the counter...)
