Revisited. This is a casual thread and also a sister thread to the diet and fitness threads......

I suggest listing once per day.... if you're like me, that'll mean going back to the original post to add new food intake as the day goes on.

Is starting with a big ol' slice of chocolate cake bad? Shocked

(The sozlet and I made some cake the other day and she gets hyper when she has chocolate so I only let her have it in the morning, when she has plenty of time to work out the hyperness.)

Strawberries
Bananas
OJ
Leftover potroast, onions, potatoes
Crackers

That's it so far. Oh except for a fair amount of (plain ol' tap) water.

It's been pasta day, and we're having it tonight. Helfino why I'm having such a craving for it today.

1 bowl ramen with some low-fat margarine and mixed vegetables.
1 bowl macaroni with cheddar.
Handful of pecans with cinnamon.

So far, about 4 oz. of water. I need to get drinking more (water, that is).

I know what we're having tonight so I'll add it now:

Rigatoni with tomatoes, onions, peppers and mushrooms in sauce (includes olive oil and some garlic and basil).
Salad with gorgonzola, Granny Smith apple slices and pecans.
Soy milk mixed with 1% milk (probably heated).

Possibly some matzoh if I want a snack.

Is my menu interesting? Hmm, well, its contents are dictated by the following circumstances:
1. I am single
2. I am too tired to invest sufficient efforts in cooking
3. I like Coca-Cola® and many other things invented in USA, like, for example, Big Mac™.

Pueo - you do everything all wrong and still you're skinny...... well, the not eating until you're hungery isn't wrong.

steissd - the food combos - pancakes with sour cream and the yogurt sauce..... are what sound interesting. Most of us will be eating some derivation of european style cooking. Yours sounds more middle-eastern. Such as it should.

i don't see the point of eating just because it morning, noon, or evening. i think a lot of people eat at those times because it's a habit or routine.

doing everything wrong? yup, according to all those fitness/diet guru's who tell everyone who will listen to eat x amount of calories, eat only this, not that, eat small meals throughout the day, etc. in essence they're just telling their followers (for a price) the same common sense things, which i will give to you free of charge. eat what you want to in moderation, and just eat when you're hungry. Smile
