If you're just being silly, i don't understand your joke.

If you're being serious, you're wrong:

The Columbia University Press wrote:
Mesopotamia [Gr.,=between rivers], ancient region of Asia, the territory about the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, included in modern Iraq. The region extends from the Persian Gulf north to the mountains of Armenia and from the Zagros and Kurdish mountains on the east to the Syrian Desert. From the mountainous north, Mesopotamia slopes down through grassy steppes to a central alluvial plain, which was once rendered exceedingly fertile by a network of canals.

Eye-raqi. Mes-opt-amia. Do you need to get your oculars checked?

Well, he hasn't come by since Friday. He's really not that bad I just have a sort of visceral reaction to the posture he takes with me as if I were his subordinate. I'm sure he thinks I'm a total bitch now.

The part that ties in with the slacking is that I feel like I really shouldn't be, like I really can't afford to. I worry that if I give him any opening, well, I don't know. Just a general bad feeling about it. I'm doing a little better this week so far. I'm actually getting a thing or two done. Still hard to focus, though.

Sometimes you have to holler to break a young twerp's mind set.

He hasn't been by since Friday? Could he be looking for a new subordinate/punching bag?

Oh, I'm sure he'll be back. He has two interns he can use, he doesn't need to come around here with his peacock feathers out.

You don't need the Cock of the Walk--with or without that pluckable plumage.
