the fact that we FEEL and scream over a 20 dollar a month change tells you how tight budget we are,

and that is most of america .
gas prices hurt.

I'm pretty pissed off about the gas prices because it was already costing me $60 a week to go to work and now it's going to cost me even more.
I think what ticks me off the most is how the prices all of a sudden jump from 89 cents a liter, right up to $1.13 a liter. That's an over 25% increase overnight. If this keeps up, I'm going to be forced to take a less paying job closer to home and that just sucks.
I don't know who's to blame, so I'm just gonna blame George W. Bush.

I feel the market will eventually settle the price per gallon issue, and yes "We'll take it in the shorts". Price per gallon wise we've had it to well compared with Europe, etc. And I think those days are over.....?

I'm in Canada and the gas prices were high enough at 89 cents a liter (About $3.50 a gallon), so it's killing me financially at $1.13 a liter (about $4.50 a gallon).
I'm in the country and the nearest store (small store) is 2 1/2 miles away.

This sucks!

It doesn't bother me at all. I just started ridding a bike. I can ride up to 30 miles in one ride no problem. Pollution, obesity, gas prices & traffic are non existent to me. but I fell bad hearing stories like montantas.(I just read my own post, i'm exaggerating)

Of course it's all GWB's fault Smile But, take heart, liberals who firmly believe that. That tanker will surely be arriving any minute with loads of free oil, right?

It's all about OIL.....remember?

<Probably won't be sharing the FREE OIL with the Canadians, though...LOL>

You know, JW, there is a legitimate issue here that many in this thread are able to discuss without throwing about labels in a deragatory manner and turning it into another partisan bicker-fest. If you can do that too, it would be greatly appreciated.

Then, it's NOT about THE OIL? LOL.

FD - If you were serious, you'd have posted your little rant at another poster a few posts up.

LOL. There is a big difference between that post and yours. Even you should be able to see that. LOL. You don't have to be a liberal to blame the president for your woes, fairly or not. LOL.

Hard to take a discussion seriously when the Blame-Bush crowd is seen as non-partisan.

Even you should be able to see that.

High gas prices dont bother me at all.
If you cant afford to buy your gas, then you shouldnt be driving your car.

Higher prices are a fact of life.
Deal with it and stop whining.

That concept will be quite confusing to the BlameBush/BlameAmericaFirst crowd.

You win, JW. Why shouldn't you slide into hyper-partisanship when someone, somewhere, doesn't like Bush. Carry on.

Oh, for christ sakes. I was joking about Bush being to blame and any half wit should be able to figure that out. Don't you people know by now that I simply take pleasure in blaming Bushy boy for everything under the sun? Sure I'm very serious when I'm doing most of my blaming, but I've got to throw a joke in there every now and then, just to keep myself in practice ;-)

Chill out for god sakes!

People need cars to get to work there, mm and that is another fact of life that makes your response absurd!

If the cost of living is going to increase to that extent, so should the wages!
