Your turn . . .

But WHY did the Japanese attack us?
WHY did the Germans and Italians declare war on us?

Chrissee said to explain the REASONS.
So,what REASONS led up to WW2?

And,since WW2 included almost every country on the planet (even Mexico sent troops),then IN A SINGLE,FAIRLY SIMPLE SENTENCE,what were the reasons for WW2?

Got shot down, and now you're backpeddlin' furiously. You can try all you want to divert the thread, but you're talkin' sh*t and everyone here knows it.

Nope, you didnt shoot me down at all.
Are you beingt so arrogant as to say that WW2 was mainly a US war?

So,what were the reasons for WW2?
In a single,fairly simple sentence.

Well, using Setanta's response as a model for a single, fairly simple sentence of "reasons," I suppose we could say this for the reasons for the invasion of Iraq:

The Coalition of the Willing invaded Iraq because it failed to fully cooperate with the UN inspections or account for its WMD.

Which is as feeble a causus belli as one could imagine, and unacceptable by all standards of international law.

You mean casus belli.

Yes, we know you don't approve. But thanks for reminding us. Perhaps someone had forgotten.

Thanks for the spelling correction . . . i often make that error. I feel one cannot too often point out the criminal nature of the current administration's hubristic policies, and i appreciate that you have taken notice of that.

If my son ever did that I'd kick his ass and his mother's ass for letting him be that disrespectful! I know of no soldier who would let their child be that disrespectful at that age.

doesn't matter that that's is his attempt at an excuse for the behavior. If I'm killed over here my family inn no way shape or form better do something like that.
I have told my family time and again, no matter how I die or get killed you will NEVER take up a cause to protest what killed me. Ie: If i'm killed on a motorcycle do not protest motorcycles. If I'm killed in war do not protest war. All of these things we do voluntarily. We must accept responsibility for our actions. We as soldiers put into action our enlistment to military service. Our families are aware of this as well. Don't these people have respect for the wishes of these servicemen and women? We fight and have fought to give you people freedoms and people don't have that commom curtousy to respect what we have done. Every war since the begining of time has always had two sides: the doves and the hawks. And evrybody sits around debating about war and wars. Politicians sit and try to find other ways to solve issues between countries. Sometimes they are succesful, sometimes not. No matter what people complain about what was done. At what point does a president or leader say enough. If he keeps talking and puts forth no action, people will say he is spineless. If he commits his troops to action people will say he did it too soon. For all of you monday morning quarterbacks I have just this to say: If you dont like the way the leader of your country is doing things, run for office and get elected. If you have a complaint about the election process of your country move somewhere else.

I do not believe that soldiers expect to be put into an unjust war and sacrifice their lives. I may be wrong. You obviously, are an exception to that. You may not have noticed my latitude/longitude so you may not be aware that I am not an American. I do not like all of the things that the leader of my country is doing, but he did not commit us to a war based on nothing more than suspicion.
