thanks for replying all of u. from your posts i m convinced that there is no perfect answer to my question. eveyone has a unique definition for beauty so there choice varies too. the reason why i believe rai is most beautiful is that she has been elected by hello mag, ny times poll and various other sources as the most beautiful in the world, even julia roberts says ash is the most attractive woman in the world

Being elected, voted , or chosen as the most beautiful woman in the world doesnt necessarily make that woman so.
What if she has a HORRID personality? What if she is racist ? What if she isnt very intelligant?
Im not saying anyone IS.. im just making a point..

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, old saying.
But quite true. And since there are TRILLIONS of eyes on the planet, I doubt that one single woman will be pleasing to all. ;-)

Not only is it questionable to assert that this or that person is the most beautiful, it is even less certain who can be considered the most attractive. There is a concept which the French have articulated known as jolie-laide, meaning "pretty-ugly," and which refers to those whose features do not fit in a category ordinarily considered to represent beauty, but which are nonetheless attractive. Melina Mercouri is a good example . . .

to me she looks similar to Tweetie Bird or Henny Penny.

I dont think Kidman is that stunning either, but I watched the Movie Alexander last night and Angelina Jolie is a very beautiful woman

Dinsa, I do believe that all women of middle-eastern/asian orgin have a sort of cultural beauty that is simply natural. Their skin tone, their features, it all blends in so well and naturally that I can't help but adore the majority of women I see that have roots set in this regions.
