Since your views are well-known and you have repeated them so often, why continue to comment at all? You've already made your position clear. I would find it tiresome to keep repeating myself. Obviously you haven't convinced anyone so why not let it go? And that goes for everyone, not just you.

I haven't convinced you? Or anyone else??

Really???

I am saying that I do not know if any gods exist or not.

You are not convinced that I do not know?

Do you know if any gods exist or not?

Do you think Edgar knows?

You start your commentary with a premise that makes no sense, Mame.

If you would like to make a different argument...go to it.

@InfraBlue,
I won't be drawn into this. Read the thread if you want my thoughts. I am beyond the argument stage, just looking to post relevant information, such as the videos I recently posted.

Excellent question...and as important as the question so many "atheists" ask of theists. "What do you mean by "god?" Atheist consider that question to be paramount...and one very seldom sees an exchange between theists and atheists where it is not asked in several different ways.

Good luck getting an answer.

@Frank Apisa,
I don't care what you or anybody else believes or doesn't believe (and I don't believe many others do, either) - my point was simply about repeating yourself and your arguments to no end. You're right - I should have expressed myself better. I don't think you want to convince anyone. It's like arguing why blue is better than red.

“Putting the existance of god/gods to one side, the thing I have noticed about theologians/philosophers is that they can be put into two broad camps.”

What a Great idea: put them (philosophers and theologians) in camps.

I do not care what anyone else "believes" Mame.

Fact is, some people "believe" there are no gods...and some people "believe" there is at least one.

ONE OF THOSE GROUPS IS CORRECT!

I acknowledge that.

All this bullshit that I am repeating myself blah, blah, blah...is just that...bullshit. I am stating my position on this issue whenever it is brought up BY SOMEONE ELSE.

If it is not brought up...I am not offering it.

I also do not care what people think about me offering it as often as I do. It is one of the most important points being made in any discussion about theism or atheism. In fact, I consider it to be THE most important point being made there.

Read me...or ignore me. I truly do not care. I intend to have my say no matter what.

And if people on both sides of that issue were to meet where I am...THE WHOLE GODDAM WORLD WOULD BE BETTER OFF.

@Ragman,
Only the Catholics will be able to write letters that start "Hello mudda, hella fadder, here I am at some broad camp or other Granada.

An El Paso beer, Flix Brewhouse's Loco Lager, better known as Lucha Libre Mexican Lager, won the North American Brewers Association award for best Latin American or Tropical-Style Lager or Ale.

I haven't had it, but we're gonna drive to the other side of town to try it.

I used to live for the next beer. At a party the past weekend I was offered beer numerous times, but drank just iced tea. It took three years before I quit falling off the wagon. Significantly, I could have had two or three at that party and quit and not have to have more. Just didn't want it at that point.

Sounds interesting, IB.

I've taken a liking to Peroni...a beer that originally came from Italy. Apparently it sells good in Europe. It has a good taste.

I was introduced to Peroni a few years ago – great beer! That was on a trip to Long Island, though – haven't seen it for retail sale here although it is sometimes available in higher end restaurants. Elegant beer cans.

Yup.

There was a time I was drinking Dos Equis. At a younger time in my life I looked a lot like that most interesting man in the world character, Goldsmith. So I thought it would be cool. But I never got into it that much. The Peroni does have a unique flavor...and the friends we get together with often now are stocking it.

@Frank Apisa,
Yeah, Peroni is available here in the supermarkets and on tap at some of the Italian food restaurants.

@InfraBlue,
It's alright but it'snothing special, most supermarkets stock it.

I only buy it if it's on special offer.

@Frank Apisa,
The name Peroni is a bit off putting to me. It sounds too much like that bent carrot problem that has been flooding the TV ad spaces recently.

In my later years I have taken a liking to craft beers and ales. If I can find a local source I would like to give this one a try.

Egad...there are a LOT of those kinds of ads lately. At 85, I have my own take on them!

I love that label. And labels do sell beer and wines, so...

We have a collection of wines in our wine cellar of Marilyn Merlot wines...and many empty bottles. GREAT labels. A surprisingly delicious wine!

I was inspired to talk about beer in this thread from this cartoon I came across some years ago. It may have been from able2know, littlek's Atheism thread perhaps.
