Ken Kesey (we both lived in or near Eugene, OR).

Allen Ginsberg (he made himself available to fans before a reading).

John Olerud (current ballplayer and a heck of a nice guy).

Bob Geldof (Boomtown Rats and now an activist).

Oh, yeah. I met Ed McMahon and Doc Severinsen when I attended Doc Severinsens daughters wedding and reception.

She married a major quarter horse person, and our invite was through the groom due to the horse connection.

Laughing It had nothing to do with milking horses (or dogs) so don't be jumping to any conclusions.

The groom was a big time person in the quarter horse industry. My family was big in the quarter horse industry. He sent us an invite to his wedding, which happened to be to Doc's daughter.

(That's Doc Severinsens daughter, not not a daughter of Doc Bar for any horse people that may read this)
