Regis Philbin, dies at age 88

One of my favorite low key TV hosts has died today. Regis Philbin died of natural causes his spokesperson announced. There was something about Regis that always made me smile. I don't know if you can be lively and relaxed at the same time, but thats what I think of when I think of him. Rest in Peace

I always liked Reege..

His facial expressions were always so wonderful, when he'd react to what someone said or did.

i just remembered -- my friends and i met him once while we were playing frisbee in central park.

this was probably 1985, 1986.

we had a brief chat about frisbee, then he was on his way, doing his Reege stuff...

RIP to Regis.

Anyway, I have a nephew who used to play Frisbee in Central Park with JFK, jr. Were you a part of the group that JFK was part of?

As have all of my long distant days!

Last time I saw you in NYC (at some deli or restaurant)...I was in a cloud. I thought the pot was screwing me up, but they ended up diagnosing me with epilepsy. The drug I now take has things in total control. Haven't smoked a bone since the diagnosis, though...even though pot is recommended for use for seizures.
