I never gave the Bengals a snowball's chance in a Texas summer.

@George,
I am SO chuffed right now. Great back story on Joe Burrow and his journey. Truly happy for him.

@George,
The egos on these guys are huge. Brady made the right choice. Rodgers should make the same one.

Best Playoff games that I've ever seen.

Hope the Super Bowl is even better.

I have been a fan of Joe Burrow since his days at LSU...and The Rams are my second favorite team after the Giants, who can't get out of their own way these days. So I'm gonna love the game...and just let happen whatever happens.

Here are the teams we thought would win the Super Bowl and how many of
us picked each one.

Code:Buccaneers 6
Packers 6
Bills 5
Chiefs 3
Bengals 1
49ers 0
Rams 0
Titans 0

With his pick of the Bengals, Rhys is the only one with a chance at the
eight points a correct pick will bring.

If the Bengals win, Rhys wins the game.
If the Rams win, JPB's eighteen points carry the day.

Yeah, but if the Chiefs win then....

...oh, never mind.

JPB, how's it happen you're a Bengals fan?

@George,
Saturday football in New Orleans is LSU. SEC football is huge in the south, but wasn't really on my radar. A couple years ago, during JB's senior year, the entire state became engaged in LSU football as much as the NFL on Sundays. We all became Joe Burrow fans and were really happy for him to go home to Cincinnati. We were at our normal watering hole for the past two weekends and you would have thought the Saints were playing. The Bengals are now the adopted AFC team of New Orleans. We even acknowledge their "Hey Dat". Wink

@JPB,
I’m rooting for him too. He’s got the “it” factor…reminiscent of that other Joe, Broadway Joe, though he’s far more accurate. He has the charisma. Bengal’s team is pretty credible with a good defense and a run game for good balance. I wouldn’t be shocked if they won.

@JPB,
Ah yes. I forgot about LSU.

College football far less of a deal in the upper right-hand corner. Of course the
local Ivies refer to Harvard-Yale as "The Game". I always hope MIT pranks it again.

I'm interested in baseball and basketball, but don't watch baseball games and not many basketball games. Football off season leaves a big void for me.
