If the leaking of Plame's identity was a crime, then Richard Armitage would be sitting in the hot seat, not Libby. This case has yet to identify an underlying crime. If anyone knows of one, please tell Fitzgerald.

Yes. People obstruct justice simply because it is fun and a challenge. There's really nothing wrong with obstructing justice and those who do it clearly ought to be understood and treated as if they were skipping down the road with handsful of daisies.

Its early in the game, but yea, I might end up being disapointed in the new congress. Whats the big deal about admitting it?

Absolutely nothing, Revel. That's the major difference between thinking folk and these delusionary conservatives [not all conservatives are delusionary].

As they don't have the mental wherewithal to do anything except march in lockstep with their leader, they find it difficult to imagine that thinking adults can entertain constructive criticism.

My thought on this, I think the jury should come up with a verdict later this upcoming week, March 5 through 9. If not, it could spell trouble for the prosecution's case.....I hope....

Even now, it doesn't appear to be an open-shut case for the jury. They keep requesting more office supplies. I imagine if we could witness the jury proceedings, it would be fairly humorous.

Man, when I look at Libby, he sure looks like a dangerous criminal, and the guy is still on the loose.

Yeah, and appearance is a big determining factor in guilt or innocence, which is why hardly no rich white guys do jail time. They're obviously all innocent.

Nice jab, snood. I have to agree with you that you guys are unfairly picked on at times. Keep up the good work, though and it will only get better.

White collar crime is different, and if Colin Powell were on trial, I would say the same thing, he looks very dangerous, as a joke of course.

Well, white collar guys steal with a briefcase instead of a gun. What is wrong with the comment I made? Whites or blacks can be white collar criminals, or otherwise.

Oh, please, have you looked at most of the world's serial killers, more of than not they are middle aged white men some of whom don't look dangerous at all.

okie is a one track train; he only sees what he sees, and repeatedly says things from a very myopic view of reality. The above is only one example.

He's incapable is seeing the unibomber, Tim McVeigh, Hitler, and all them nice white folks.

And now they have asked another question.

Yahoo News 1 hour 15 minutes ago

I have one... Is "humanly possible" a legal term?

It sounds to me like one or more jurors are holding out for "not guilty" and the rest of them are trying to show that the standard the holdout(s) are using is more than is required by law.

Reasonable doubt is not the same thing is not being "humanly possible."

I'd love to know which juror(s) even asked about that. I wouldn't want to be one of the other jurors dealing with them.

Actually, I was about to bring that up with snood, but I feared someone would take the comments out of context. Since you brought it up, I agree, it seems like most serial killers, child molestors, and extreme weirdos, are white. Criminals that happen to be black are more into a less heinous crimes, things like robbery, gang related stuff, drugs, etc.

Bottom line, human nature is ugly, if left uncontrolled.
