Recently its been ok, Ive started to take liquid peppermint in hot water, which eases the stomach. tho had a bit of a hiccup last night.I had to open a window!

Ginger, coal tablets, and liquorice are supposed to ease the stomach and help alot but nothing really seems to stop it permanently.

Maybe your lactose intolerent.I am, and before I knew I was very windy.

Might you be suffering from IBS, RG? My uncle has that. My heart goes out to you (just from the occasional times I've had those symptoms myself). Good luck in getting to the bottom (oops! unwitting pun! Laughing ) of it.

Try cutting out obvious suspects like milk and ice cream.

I switched to soy milk (I know, I know but if you start off by putting it on your cereal you actually start to like it. And the choclate soy milk tastes like yoohoo)

What does your everyday diet consist of, that might give us a better idear.

broccoli and a few other veggies cause gas as well.
So does being wheat intolerant..

any side effects after you eat something? Or is it just going on all day?

Lactose intolerant-Lactose is a milk sugar which the body (in some people)cant break down, causing nasty symptoms including botty burps.
Cut out all dairy, milk, cheese, cream, yoghurt, its found in alot of foods you wouldnt expect to find it in so look at the labels.

Also try cutting out fizzy drinks and coffee.

Go to a gastroenterologist. There are all kinds of things it could be, some of which are cureable, such as, for instance, pseudomembranous colitis.
