To be clear: the hearing was this morning, Central European Time. I am quite sure that you and "the hundred others" were not online.
However, all European TV stations reported on it in their news programmes. You could also have checked the court's website, UN Web TV or the Dutch media or ...

@Lash,
The case is being reported, and it was reported live, your difficulty getting hold of the transmission, which may be down to time difference, is local.

It does not excuse you making sweeping statements about UK media not covering it when it was the second leader story after the Post Office hearings.

@Walter Hinteler,
Well, I and a few hundred others did wake up at 5am and I was able to get a live feed supplied by UNWebTV made available via Twitter.

@izzythepush,
My complaint is the absence of the live, unbiased, uninterrupted, unequivocated stream of the day in court.

I bet you a week away from A2K that much more of Israel's response will stream.

@Lash,
That's tomorrow about the same time.

If you want it live you'll have to get up early.

@izzythepush,
I think maybe you didn't see my post on this thread explaining that I got up at 5am this morning and watched the opening day remarks.

Or you're having a laugh.
Either way, I'm so damn happy about the events of today, I'm laughing too.

@Lash,
You said UK media wasn't covering the case at all.

You only mentioned 5am after posting at 11.41 GMT, one hour and forty minutes into the deposition.

If you were having such problems at the time why not mention it then?

You didn't say you'd had personal problems accessing live feed until 2.25pm GMT.

US, UK media not covering the case.

I heard coverage, including the specific quotes you refer to, on the BBC World News this morning, which is broadcast daily on my local PBS network. NPR's Rob Schmitz reported the story on Morning Edition as well. A ruling may not come for years.

It's ok. I'm certain she'll quickly apologize for trumpeting a falsehood. Her reputation for scholarship and integrity being at stake.

Trump’s theory of the Presidency. And what it amounts to is…dictatorship.

I was living in Portland and writing at the Plumline blog when Trump's campaign began. I tried to imagine what he was thinking about this job. He surely wasn't eager to wake each morning for his national security briefing. The necessity of pouring through documentation and scholarship on numerous important issues such that he might become well-versed in them didn't seem to be a prospect he wade into with zest and a sense of responsibility. And I wrote at the time, "Trump doesn't want to be President. He wants to be Pharaoh."

This is a rather historical damning moment for those governments.
Since the Post Scandal is important for the UK, this is on the frontpages of all national papers.

As noted earlier, correction and apology expected soonest from Lash.

I wonder how much attention Fox News is paying to this story. So I brought up "Fox News Breaking Stories", and, as you can see, there's extensive coverage of the sort of things its target audience cares about. I guess the ICJ isn't one of those topics.

Which brings up a point about the news offered to people in the US. Many local affiliates don't even bother to broadcast international news and many people don't even care. CNN and CBS have stories. If MSNBC covered it, it was well hidden. Again, US citizens are known for insularity and news sources tend to serve the appetite of the public in order to get more views and charge advertisers more .

@Lash,
The feed from youtube is unedited, the feed SABC is unedited and provided from South Africa for Pete's sakes.

Be perfectly honest: you didn't look at either. You mistook SABC for ABC, didn't you?
