@blatham,
I think that New Yorker “headline” is a direct quote of my first words upon awakening the morning of November 9th.

MTG showed up to a “rally” she arranged in front of a NY Court, but only stayed for ten minutes. The New Yorkers drowned out every word she was trying to say with loud whistles and shouts. She shouted something about being “assaulted with noise” before retreating and leaving. This is how Trumpers should always be greeted.

True for many, many of us. It's probably my favorite New Yorker cover.

Her hope, I'm sure, what some mild physical assault that could then be used to forward the "we are being victimized again" story. It's a very good thing that didn't happen but she will try to suggest it anyway, thus her wording.

I don’t understand the purpose and plan behind this press statement Bragg is making right now. It’s like he’s presenting his case against Trump to the press. I expected merely listing of the different counts in the indictment, not him explaining why he thinks Trump’s guilty. Seems wrong.

@snood,
Why? All of this is known to 45's attorneys already. All this comes out in discovery. The hearings before the trial will determine what evidence he will be allowed to present at trial. Between discovery and depositions of listed witnesses, both sides have clear outlines of the other's arguments, witnesses and evidence.

@bobsal u1553115,
Yeah you’re probably right that it doesn’t matter. It sounds like a real strong case…
that will most likely result in Trump paying a fine in about the year 2026, after he exhausts all his appeals.

If he doesn’t die first.

We should be so lucky.

@blatham,
To add to my last post on Greene's "assaulted by noise" statement, George Santos was also there and quickly left saying he "felt threatened".

Count on such statements being repeated on Fox etc to forward notions of "violent left" (as contrasted with peaceful, patriotic Jan 6 tourists) and "Trump-hating New Yorkers" (thus a prejudiced grand jury and illegitimate legal process),

I think he just wanted to beat Trump to the punch by indicating that this kind of prosecution is done damn near every day in NYC. Trump is going to suggest it is being done just to get him...ever the victim.

The meeting with the press was boring...no matter his motives. But Bragg looks like a formidable foe for Trump.

@snood,
I no longer care how he goes out, so long as he goes out. But it would be nice if he spends at least one day in prison as a felon.

@blatham,
Trump is a diversionary tactic from Biden losing the petrodollar and sending our currency into the dustbin.

Fill up your tank and learn to grow food…

But the disgusting racism against Reese and her team was worthy of noting—and the Monitoring Biden Crew should note this execrable dog whistle to black athletes and the whole community.

Reese’s gestures were attacked as thuggish. The white girl had done the same first. There’s no way around people’s responses indicating their judgement. The Bidens dispatched the First Lady to mollycoddle a white girl for initiating the gestures—and they choose to dilute the black team’s achievement by inviting the white team.

That’s another **** sandwich to black Americans.

It’s far too important on its own merit than to be related as a distraction. Jim Crow Joe strikes again.

Yeah, I'm sure Biden's controllers saw that there might be a problem with the oil scam this year, so Soros had his puppet, Bragg, start up the Trump investigation again, knowing that the arraignment could be timed – with the full cooperation of the FBI and the CIA spooks – to coincide with the loss of the petrodollar, successfully diverting the country's attention from a potential international financial crisis with the prearranged spectacle of an innocent man being framed.

Pretty clear that there's two sets of "rules" in play here. If Trump is to be indicted for exactly the same offense that Clinton and co were found guilty of, then Houston, we have a problem.

The Clinton campaign and the DNC will be forced to pay $8,000 and $105,000 respectively for mislabeling payments that ultimately went to Fusion GPS, the consulting firm that commissioned the dossier, according to FEC documents viewed by the Post.

Weaponizing the DOJ FBI CIA IRS etc has been a fatal error for the DNC. Conservatives and lefties recognize the political attack by Democrats. They are clamoring to find ways to wipe out their competition—since there’s no positive reason to vote for them. They’ve set a precedent that is rapidly delegitimizing the idea of US democracy—at home and abroad.

Upshot if you bought gold when BRICS started rumbling: it really hopped up today.

34 counts! And now we may wait a year before they convict and lock the POS up!
