@bulmabriefs144,
Well, at least I know now why your statements are so peculiar.

@bobsal u1553115,
I believe that you don't understand how succession works.

Even the dumbest Republican took basic civics.
https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_line_of_succession
1 Vice President
2 Speaker of the House of Representatives
3 President pro tempore of the Senate
4 Secretary of State
5 Secretary of the Treasury
6 Secretary of Defense
7 Attorney General
8 Secretary of the Interior
9 Secretary of Agriculture
10 Secretary of Commerce
11 Secretary of Labor
12 Secretary of Health and Human Services
13 Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
14 Secretary of Transportation
– Secretary of Energy
15 Secretary of Education
16 Secretary of Veterans Affairs
– Secretary of Homeland Security

And you don't elect former presidents.

@bulmabriefs144,
On January 6th Trump was still president, so if the Vice President is dead and the Speaker of the House is dead....He can just declare Martial
Law and order a suppression of the current government and prevent normal functions like an inauguration of the President elect.

Good luck with those civic classes.

@bulmabriefs144,
I don't think you get that he wasn't looking for a legitimate way back into the office. He wanted to declare martial law after all those able to use the 25th amendment against him dead or under arrest. Weren't you paying attention to what the Orange Shitgibbon was saying himself? Ignoring the facts doesn't make them disappear. He was canceling an election. What don't you get?

As a nation, the US is debating the ethics of forcing a 5th grader to carry a pregnancy to term. What logic do you use daily to avoid the idea that you're not irretrievably broken?

@Wilso,
The country (specifically, our way of government) is definitely broken. “Irretrievably” is premature.

@snood,
America is broken - yes. In most other countries, they would already be in a "shooting" Civil War. What is ongoing here shows what should happen in a mature democracy.

@BillW,
I don’t think I agree with your “mature democracy” assessment, but I’ll just say this: we ain’t dead yet.

Yup. Two things especially stood out:

One, the president of the United States refused to act...while a mob attacked the Capitol and threatened the lives of Members of Congress...and the people who are there to protect them. He simply refused to do anything to stop that mob...and at times, even egged them on.

Two, Josh Hawley is a pussy, pretending to be a tiger.

The only western nation where lawmakers can have two nationalities.

How can they possibly have total devotion to the US of A, when this is the case?

A total separation between mass media, religion, and politics, is what is required.

What's that have to do with anything?

Um...maybe because they live here?

With all the problems facing western democracies in general, and the USA in particular, you actually think being able to hold dual citizenship is the root of the problem?
