. Most of us will hit A2k at various times of the day for short periods, (I like lunch time , nd early AM). Like you, weve got farm work and errands and projects.
Whenever Ollie starts talking lik a loon I usually hang out for few interactions just for fun.

You have a lumber mill nearby or do you have your own "WoodMizer" (whatever brand).
A month aago we hauled a 10 ft segment of a poplar log and a cherry log to the mill where the poplar gave us some really nice cabinet wood (painted) and the cherry Im gonna plane down for wall hanging book shelves and studio stuff for the studio and the "milkhouse"

I love watching the mill working.

Not sure if you and Hightor have ever seen this, but it is a doozy...and seems like it would be of interest to you two.

You can skip through it to save time, but when you see the end product...it is stunning.

That you refer to facts and reality as lunacy says more about you than it does me.

Although you are quite spirited, you are quite wrong. It isn't the first, and it won't be your last.

Nope. Mr. Biden is an illegitimate president.

Wrong. Mr. Biden is an illegitimate president.

@oralloy,
Your only source for verification of your belief are words spoken by a revealed liar. Trump has lied to us right on TV yet you still believe him. Obviously skills in comprehension are what you lack, as well as a moral compass.

Not really. My only source is my own observations.

When progressives claim that something is a lie, most often it is actually completely true.

farmerman wrote:

Not really. I don't pay any attention to what politicians say.

I can hardly believe something that I haven't even heard in the first place.

farmerman wrote:

Wrong again. My comprehension skills are perfect.

High comprehension comes naturally with a high IQ.

My moral compass works just fine. I'm the moral equal of Gandhi and Mandela.

That's why evil people always hate me so much.

Mr. Manchin, whose role as perhaps the most centrist Democrat in an evenly divided Senate gives him outsize influence, remained adamant on Sunday that he would not vote to outright abolish the 60-vote supermajority threshold, which requires Democrats to attract the support of 10 Republicans to pass most legislation.

But he reiterated that he would support altering the rules of the practice and potentially establishing a "talking filibuster" -- requiring any senator objecting to ending debate to remain on the floor and speak for the entire time. That could make filibusters far less frequent, and give Democrats far more opportunities to pass legislation on party-line votes, with Vice President Kamala Harris casting the tiebreaker.

"If you want to make it a little bit more painful, make him stand there and talk, I'm willing to look at any way we can," Mr. Manchin said of the filibuster on NBC's "Meet the Press." "But I'm not willing to take away the involvement of the minority."

I'm all for changing back to a talking filibuster. It will give conservative Senators more opportunities for heroic stands against the radical left.

Chris Wallace straight busted Joe Manchin.
“You’re on four Sunday morning shows. Are you enjoying your position of power a little too much?”

It was good that somebody said it to his face.

@snood,
Like I said a few months ago, Joe Biden is not going to be able to get any of his extremist agenda past moderate legislators.

He had to pull one of his nominees too. I forget the position, but maybe it was for OMB?

In short, Joe Biden is a do-nothing failure of a president.
