We are all equal. Slavery is repulsive, yet black people should not use this part of history to blame non-black people or even toss out the suggestion that it's time for black people to enslave us.

You far-left liberals are turning me into a conservative. Nice job. Hooooo.

@goldberg,
400 years of slavery, jim crow, segregatopnm, and racoa; and economicinkequality, selma, mlk assassination, george floyd, ahmaud arberry, and we learn about more disgusting acts against black americans every day. It hasn't stopped. face it, don't try to "witewash" it.

In the wake of Amy Cooper, white people have to protect themselves instead of calling the police when they feel threatened by a minority.

They thought the jogger guy was a burglar.

@oralloy,
they THOUGHT. They had NO evidence, just baseless prejudice, and they murdered him. That does not in any way validate your racist advocacy for murdering innocent black people.

How would you expect ordinary citizens to gather evidence?

They thought he was a burglar and they took care of the problem.

Wrong. There had been burglaries in the neighborhood.

Wrong. They thought he was a burglar.

Falsely accusing everyone of racism makes progressives look even goofier than they normally look.

Self defense is in no way murder.

I gotta say, I am extremely underwhelmed by the new attorney general.

He seems like just exactly the kind of “traditionalist” that will ensure that the corruption that Trump and Barr brought will be allowed to fester on...

@oralloy,
they were wrong. they had NO evidence, just baseless suspicion, and they ki;led an innocent man. Amy violated Chris's right and refused to do anything about it, and tried to get him murdered-by-cop. kthat's why the NY justice system went after her, not him.. No phony "self-defense".

So, in an effort to get the thread back on track from whatever happened here in the last few days:
Biden asks G-7 to take a tougher line on China, but not all allies are enthusiastic
Quote:
President Biden is asking leaders of other wealthy democracies to make a unified front against China’s use of forced labor, arguing Saturday that a stronger line is a moral and practical imperative.

The Group of Seven economic club is also expected to agree on a joint alternative to heavy-handed Chinese economic expansion tactics that can leave poorer nations saddled with debt.

Countering China is fast becoming a central element of Biden’s foreign policy, despite extensive trade ties and hopes for cooperation to combat climate change and other priorities.

But some of the leaders Biden is seeing for the annual G-7 session are less eager to prod Beijing over its labor practices. It was not clear whether Biden could persuade them to fully back his proposal to call out China for its use of forced labor, including of the Uyghur ethnic and religious minority.

He is vowing to protect voter' rights in the face of the republican efforts to violate them. Let's see if he carries thru.

Right. I heard what he said about taking a strong stand for voters’ rights. But when pressed for specifics, all he has done thus far is repeat fluffy platitudes.
Yeah, I guess you’re right - let’s see.

It's not like there was any corruption in the Trump Administration to begin with.

Wrong. I'm not the one who is spouting false accusations of racism at everyone.

Yes you are.

Your accusations are false. You falsely accuse people because you cannot confront the substance of their arguments.

You hate facts. Every time I post facts you start spouting untrue accusations about me.
