According to Prager, that's not possible. In his view, if you don't support the war then you want your buddies to get hurt.

It's now Planet California. Since Ahold (and Sylvester and Bruce, incidentally) disavowed they had anything to do with Planet Hollywood's financial inner workings but merely signed the paychecks, can we believe that's all he's really doing in California? Wonder when the California signs will start coming down?

As to supporting our troops and not supporting the initial invasion:

The troops didn't initiate the war, the high muckty-muck, Orwellean, elected despots started the war.

The troops were sent into the war by the highest muckty-muck Dick Cheney who used his puppet (or puppy) mouthpiece to orate about it's validity and sell it to the American public.

Read the latest polls -- the public is having buyer's remorse and wants to return the product. Especially since it's something that was sold broken at the Pottery Barn. We all know who the token pottery head leader is.

Rove and Cheney, BTW, are really Siamese twins, with Cheney hiding behind Rove. I think he should reconsider who he uses as a shield.

Hoping a soldier doesn't die is not supporting the soldier when you curse the job he is doing and the leadership instructing him. It's hoping he doesn't die. I hope none of you die or get seriously hurt either, but I most sincerely do not support you or your cause.

Laughing I guess that it's true. If you give anyone enough time and space they will make your case for you.

One wonders if McG thinks we live in a military dictatorship. It appears he thinks the military made the decision to go to war since he accuses anyone of not supporting that cause of not supporting the military.

McG, the military is not the cause. They are fighting as ORDERED to. You can support people ordered to do something without supporting what they were ordered to do.

And what is my cause McGen.What if the soldier goes to war believing in the mission then finds out the cause of reason for the mission was false and the soldier no longer supports the war.Can the soldier not support himself.Pragers argument is bankrupt.Next

AMIGO, sit down and listen up.

When a war is found out to be immoral and fattening well after its inception, we must all, nevertheless, fall in line and support it. Otherwise we are traitors.

As a social liberal and economic conservative, I do not support the troops but am 110% behind the Halliburton mercenary corps and ExonMobile.

Show me one single example of a post on this board saying this.

I disagree. If a sizeable number of citizens who are willing to sacrfice the good of their country for their own political ends, try to frame the administration in power for anything they can pin on them, and declare defeat anytime there is the smallest military setback or any military goal can be identified that has not yet been met, there is really the likelihood of damage to the war effort. In what you say above, you are making the unrealistic assumption that everyone is honest and has good intentions.

So you had the same standard from 1992-2000? You felt the same way about Republicans during Bosnia? Kosovo?
Somehow Brandon I think you are a fair weather patriot when it comes to this standard. Only as long as YOU support the war.

What was my position on the wars in Bosnia and Kosovo? What did I say, and how did I behave?

Please provide some post of mine in which I did what you assert, or else withraw the accusation.
