How do I attract other Black users to my threads?

Absolutely does. I did not realize it until a few years ago. I put it down as racism pure, but its worse: its white supremacy and I benefited from it. Makes me pissed because I know I am smarter than the average bear. I didn't need a leg up, all I needed was an opportunity. Just like most everybody else.

Have you ever listened to American gangsta rap from the '80s and '90s? Rappers like Ice Cube and Ice T, who are both African American, used to rap about killing police.

1. So, you are saying your knowledge of black culture is derived from '80s and '90s rappers.

2. The reason that I recommended those 8 movies for you to see was to show you diversity in black culture.

3. For instance, the movie Soul Food in some ways reminded me of my own family.

4. The movie Drumline brought back fond and fun memories of growing up in a city around a HBCU Historical Black College and University.

5. The Original Kings of Comedy movie brought back a lot of fond memories, especially the music, and the jokes were gut busting funny.

6. Also each of the other remaining movies I had recommended for you to see all had there own qualities.

The following was izzythepush response response to your post and I agree with izzythepush:

That music didn’t emerge in a vacuum, it was a response to police brutality.

For all your protestations you seem to be implying that black people are more predisposed to criminality than other races.

Getting in the door is wonderful white privilege. It was usually all I needed to do. If I got the interview, 80% of the time or more - I got the job.

White privilege is the key to the door not the combination to vault for young people. "
