There's a gang I usually hang out with a bit each summer. We've pretty much accepted that won't be happening this year, so we've started planning for 2021. One of the regular features of the get-togethers is fun drinks. Mr Pong usually makes martinis for the crowd. Anna and I have been collecting fancy martini glasses for this. Today, my walk involved going to get 3 lovely handblown martini glasses someone had posted on a neighborhood come and get it page. Good social distancing practiced all along the route. Lots of waving and smiling. Nice start to the long weekend and we're one step closer to all the nice martini glasses Mr Pong will ever need. 2021, here we come !

I read on a news ite that on of the Snowbirds had crashed into a home shortly after take off. I dont know where in Canada it happened nor whether anyone was hurt or killed. Its a real shame , a neat gesture of support gets wrecked by an accident.

Kamloops BC.. One confirmed dead. Second awaiting confirmation. Trying to find out when flag lowering will be at nearby legion. Want to stand at edge of parking lot to offer respect.

We hhave an infrequent occurence of fatalities among our T birds an Blu Angels too. I remember about 10 years ago when the Angels hd a mss crash becauae they were just performing too many shows an not adhearing to strict pilot rest rules.

Has the thumbing up/down capacity disappeared for everyone or just me?

For me, it comes and goes, lately.

Its back and forth for me too.

Some days I will see just the thumb count, but not the actual thumbs themselves.
Other times.. no issues .

Im pretty sure on my end it is the update from Firefox that my laptop keeps telling me to do.. but I conveniently ignore...

I think the graphics file disappears but not the ability to do up-or Dow-thumbing. . In other words, click the space where it should be and it’ll enable it.You just don’t actually see it (the graphic).
