No. But if they do they should switch partners every couple of weeks.

Only if they are gay and therefore there is zero chance of them gifting their parents with infants for them to raised into their old age.

Depends on the emotional age of BOTH of the kids involved. For the most part, the answer will be no. But there should be a few rare exceptions to this rule.

Middle school dating is practice for real dating. It's a chance to engage is some low risk play acting with lots of adult supervision to be better prepared for the turmoil of high school.
I taught one 12 year old who had three different girlfriends in one day. The last one split up with him because went, 'ugh,' or something like that.
Apparently making that noise was his thing at the time.
