Hi. I am curious. Since my mother has been away, I have been keeping my self busy with housework and taking of other business. I explained in another thread what happened and that I still have a lot of decluttering to do.
I haven't always had time to run down to my local plaza and buy groceries. There are places I can go to get free food but I haven't made the time to go over to these places to pick the food up. I have to call one such place and make sure that the business of me having the proper I.D. that I need is squared away.
Since I haven't always had the time to go out and get food, I have ordered pizza and/or calzones.
I don't know how many I have ordered and consumed since my mother has been away but it's been a bunch. She's been away for about 3 months as of the time of the posting of this thread.
I have often ordered pizza and/or calzones because I either haven't had enough time to go out and get food, or because there's a scarcity of food and I am waiting on getting my clothes together and I need to eat something, or because once in a while I am not up to cooking anything.
Some people I know told me they put sugar in pizza crust. I presume they do that to the bread they make calzones with too.
Is eating too much pizza and calzones bad?
I am not an expert on diet and nutrition. I know I need to be eating healthier. Please help. Thank you.
I thought about ordering Chinese food but I really didn't want to bother. I prefer ordering food online.
It is a lot easier to order food from a restaurant online, and some pizza places are open late at night.
If eating too much pizza and calzones is bad and if I do need to order delivery food, what food can I order in the place of pizza and calzones that is healthier?
I have ordered salad, pasta and sandwiches from Dominoes and Pizza Hut.
Please help. Thank you.
Too much of any type of food can be dangerous. You indicated salads at times, which is good.
Pizza and calzones as well as Chinese food can have high levels of sodium which can cause your blood pressure to become dangerously high.
What about the sugar content?
Is there something wrong with ordering pasta?
There is no such thing as too much pizza.
Eating things in moderation won't harm you. I am taking about eating pizza and calzones excessively.
I don't comprehend the concept of excess when it comes to pizza.
These things are health foods, how can they be bad for one.
What are you referring to as "health foods"? Pizza and calzones? They make the crusts with sugar.
What "healthy sugar"? Cane sugar? Too much sugar is bad for you.
Healthy sugar from healthy Harry's health shop/kiosk.
But, unfortunately, it's the ultimate indulgence. According to Eat This, Not That, pizza is one of the biggest culprits of saturated fat in the American diet. Saturated fats are dangerous to the heart, as they can clog arteries and put you at risk of heart disease among other ailments.
Is that what makes pizza and calzones addictive, or is it the sugar they make with them? Or both?
