I’ve been going to various doctors and health care professionals for decades, plus attended my spouse on over a hundred more. I’ve never had a doctor, nurse, tech, therapist, administrative staff or anyone else ever bring up religion prayer or anything else considered spiritual. FWIW I live in Texas.

For what it's worth, coa999 has been very open with having mental issues, so I'm not bashing him or her.

I wouldn't find it acceptable to have someone discuss religion with me either.

Although honestly, I wouldn't call that "trained to society" as most people, at least in this countries society, at least nominally follow some religion.

Some people use their issues as clubs. That shows a certain awareness that eliminates any call for gentleness. I understand he has issues, he understands and discloses his issues.

I simply asked you to tell the circumstances where a health care professional spoke of religion with you.

As I said in a previous post, I've never had that happen to me, and I added that I live in Texas so you'd see that even in a more religious part of the country this hasn't happened to me. I'm not religious.
