Maggie, it's great to see you again!
We'd love to have you in the car with us.
You just have to promise that you don't want to drive.
I have enough getting trouble into the the driver's seat myself.

<Bailey seems to be checking the ignition here, while Cleo organizes the people into the back seat>

The wonderful little travel companions are snoozing away at the hamburgers right now. Bailey is on the floor beside me in the den, while Cleo is snuggled up between hamburger and mrs. hamburger in the living room. Cleo is snorting happily as she drifts in and out of sleep.

We had a great drive, with a 45 minute break for a breakfast picnic on our way. The dogs and I ran around for a while, shared bacon and eggs and toast from Wendy's, ran a bit more, and then hopped back in the car. Got off the highway near the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, and drove the last hour of the trip on the back roads. Fabulous drive.

eBeth HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Heute kann es regnen,
stürmen oder schnei'n,
denn du strahlst ja selber
wie der Sonnenschein.
Heut ist dein Geburtstag,
darum feiern wir,
alle deine Freunde,
freuen sich mit dir.
Wie schön dass du geboren bist,
wir hätten dich sonst sehr vermisst.
wie schön dass wir beisammen sind,
wir gratulieren dir, Geburtstagskind!

Did your birthday sneak in here, ebeth? Happy Birthday!

I have just looked in all my efiles - My George reflection has gotten lost through all the computer crashes. I'll have to reconstruct it.My dear guardian dog.

Ohmygosh!

Thank you for those wonderful birthday wishes. Very Happy

I'd forgotten it was my birthday when I got up today - I was soooo focussed on it being Father's Day.

hamburger and mrs. hamburger and the dogs and I shared a great day - we took a nice drive along the St. Lawrence River - toward

http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/on/lawren/index_e.asp

click and open this pic in a new window

then up the Ottawa Valley toward Athens, a real old-fashioned small Ontario town famous for its murals

then we cut across toward the Rideau River and stopped at one of the locks, Brewers Mills

I took a whack of photos that I'll download/upload once I'm back in Toronto.
